I'm extremely surprised that the Panthers didn't trade Andy Dalton. He started one game, threw 350+ some yards, and then went back to the bench. Heck, I'd have taken him in MN after the Cousins injury. I am sure there are plenty of teams that could have used him with how QB injuries have been this year.

Week 16 has come and gone over the Christmas break, leaving us with a meager two weeks of the NFL season left. We officially have a new leader of the scoreboard:

Damshow sneaks into first place by a scant 1 point, pushing Livid down to 2nd; meanwhile LL is still lurking just behind those two in third, still threatening to make a push for the title over these last two weeks.

Here's how the week played out:

Some big time outcomes had a big effect - LL's tardiness cost him a chance of gaining a few extra points. Minshewmania failing to overcome the dirty birds hurt Damshow's big chance, and Purdy's no good terrible horrible day cost Livid a big 5er. I lead the league (wut?) with the only double digit score - so who is really the top of the league? (still obvi not me).

One more week has come and gone for the NFL and, by proxy, the EWB NFL Pickems League. The race for the top is starting to turn into a 2-3 horse race as a low week from Livid and great weeks from Damshow and LL! have solidifed that trio at the top of the group. Here's where things stand

Livid and Damshow are neck and neck with a mere one point of separation between them; LL sits just a bit back of the top being 6 points out but as we will see in the detailed standings, that is a deficit that can be made up real quick. The middle of the pack seems to be falling off pace from those top 3 guys. And, as is tradition, I am rounding out the bottom of the crew haha.

Here's how things went down this week:

Darnell Mooney's dropped Hail Mary is a big reason for the swing of things as Livid lost 4 and Damshow gained 5 on that wild play! Ka'imi Fairbairn's OT field goal also swung things with Damshow picking up 3 and Livid losing 2. Baker Mayfield's big game also helped LL! close the gap on both of the top two.  Your Mom won the unfortunate achievement of imperfect week with a full slate of red

Why hello there Pickems crew - one more week of the foosball in the books. Here's where things stand as of today:

Livid extended his lead, I eclipsed 100 points on the year, and the middle stayed roughly the same with lots of ppl getting the same score oddly enough

Here's how it played out:

Cincy took down Indy with ease, Baltimore walked off the Rams, the Vikes won't one of the worst games on record, Buffalo snuck past the Chiefs thanks to a totally bogus never should have been called offsides, and Dallas crunched the Eagles.
