  1. Hellfire

    South Park

That was most definitely the best episode of the season. So many awesome characters brought back for a little while, I hope next week's will be just as great. Didn't see the ginger thing coming at all, that might have made me laugh the longest.
  2. The OC's problem was definitely keeping Mischa Barton around. When they finally offed her the quality of the show drastically increased (mostly because they replaced her with a way more entertaining character)
  3. I had some doubts about watching Gossip Girl too, but its really, really good. Seriously reminds me of the O.C. actually. I've been kinda in a slump recently when it comes to shows, I'm watching Bones right now but I'm not really hooked. It's a decent show though but hasn't hooked me. I'm going to suck it up and then watch Greek, Mad Men and Justified in some sort of order.
  4. Just finished watching it, absolutely perfect episode. I agree with whoever said it would have make an awesome season ender but I'm happy to see more episodes. I really hope that we get some more seasons of this, I don't understand why it doesn't have much better ratings, it's the perfect mix of a ton of different genres and the most interesting show on Mondays that I can think of.
  5. Oh Sheesh Y'All, 'Twas a Dream

  6. The Shield definitely. Such an awesome show. I just finished watching all five seasons of Las Vegas. Entertaining show but sadly there's really not an ending, which tends to happen alot with many US shows. Most are looking for staying power and they don't think about how to wrap up a story so by the end they're scrambling to put together something halfway decent and it looks like a mess. Anyways, I'm going to catch back up with everything that I've watched so far, then start up with either Bones, Mad Men, The West Wing or something else (any suggestions? Ideally, I'd like something with at least a couple of seasons but any genre will do really)
  7. How lame do you have to be to want to pay for a chick to play video games with you. I play a lot of Call of Duty and some of the people I play with on a regular basis are female. Do I like playing with them? Sure, but it's not because they are female. It's because they can beat the crap out of you, then make fun of you for getting your ass kicked by a chick. People need to stop being so lame.
  8. I don't really have any sort of order to my list, in fact these may all change if you ask me later but right now, the top ten would be Shawshank Redemption Road to Perdition Running Scared Gladiator Starship Troopers Inglorious Basterds The Dark Knight Black Hawk Down Saving Private Ryan Hildago Some may be a bit out there, but all the movies here are ones that I've sat down and enjoyed multiple times and you can't ask for any more than that in my view.
  9. I'd watch a couple more episodes before giving it a pass though. Really, really good show.
  10. I missed it, thinking I'd be able to catch it online today. Unfortunately I can't find it in the usual places, which means I'm going to have to wait a couple days. Not happy about that at all.
  11. I saw the Treme trailer earlier today but the Boardwalk Empire one was a nice suprise. Both shows look really, really good and I'm excited to check them out. It's nice to see more actors from The Wire on other shows too.
  12. Fantastic episode. I'm glad someone other than Awesome knows now, since he's been less than awesome this season. Morgan's been beaten down again and again, so it makes sense to give him something positive. Next week's episode looks like its going to follow in the footsteps of this one too. Can't wait.
  13. Just finished the first season of Leverage. I'm a fan of heist movies and this follows in its tradition. Although I like Hustle better, this is some good stuff. Also caught up to present on Gossip Girl. Really feels like an east coast version of the O.C., which I love. Unlike most shows, most of the characters exist in a grey area, which is interesting because of the sheer number of things that you can do with them. Chuck and Dan are the best characters though by far.

    Enemy Of The World

Listened to it at school, and it's fucking awesome. Apparently they're doing a signing down the street from my house and putting on a private show sometime soon. Totally going to try to get a seat. I think its funny that I had to learn about the greatness of FYS from here, when they're from my hometown.
  15. I'd go with the Mentalist. It sort of reminds me of Psych for some reason, but much darker. Maybe Burn Notice too? I'm in agreeance with everything Livid said though. Sons of Anarchy is fantastic, White Collar is a really fun show and I've heard really good things about Mad Man, but I've been putting off watching it for some reason that I cannot explain.
  16. Steve Buscemi, Michael Imperioli and Kirk Acevedo come to mind immediately. Either separately or together, it would be most excellent to have all three on my television. Michael K Williams is definitely another one.
  17. There are better options. Check your PM box. Anyways, I just started watching Gossip Girl and I have to say, even though I feel like a big ol' gay for watching it, I'm kinda digging it. It's like an east coast version of the OC and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that in my book.
  18. Just finished up the second and third seasons of Californication. David Duchovny is awesome, the women are hot and its only a half hour. Thats pretty much about it. It's one of those shows that you aren't really bothered by if you miss, but when you start watching you remember how fun it is, then completely forget again after its over. I'll most likely watch this again when the fourth season is done.
  19. Bringing this back from the dead because there hasn't been enough good TV discussion recently. I've been watching a variety of things recently but I'll start with The Black Donnellys: It's just criminal that this show didn't get huge. A really fantastic show that apparently wasn't even given a chance. Psych: I don't know why I didn't catch this sooner. I watched the pilot on a whim, got hooked and blew through all the episodes within a week. Really funny show with a great cast. I don't really care about the romantic thing they're trying to do with Shawn recently but thats not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Better off Ted: Super funny and in danger of being pulled off the air. If you haven't seen anything from this, just check out these outtakes, which are WAY more vulgar (and funny) then the ones actually in the episode. Damages: Watched the first season and I'm really not sure what to think. On one hand, I watched it all within about 2 and a half days and couldn't stop until I was finished, but on the other it's really slow paced with a minimum of actual action. If you're more into action and gunplay, I'd give it a pass. Theres some more, but I think thats enough for now. Anyone else have thoughts, reviews, questions or whatever?
  20. Just finished watching the finale, such a good way to end it. I'll throw everything in spoilers just in case. I read somewhere that next season may be the last one. I seriously hope that isn't the case. I'd really like to see this continue onwards because it's definitely one of the best shows on TV.
  21. Oh god, New Orleans fans are going to finish the job that Katrina started. That city is going to look like a war zone after the celebration finishes. EDIT: Regardless of what happens, that city is fucked. If they win its going to be celebration but if Peyton manages to pull something out of his ass then it's going to be a riot.
  22. Ugh, this game has been terrible, the commericals have sucked and the Who sound like shit. I'm watching the Puppy Bowl
  23. New episodes of Jerry Springer are still being made? I thought they stopped in the 90's and just reaired them over and over again. It's absolute trash tv. The Steve Wilkos show on the other hand is pretty awesome, mainly because he brings the people on stage and just yells at them until its time to bring someone else out to scream at.
  24. I really haven't seen anyone on here talking about this show so I thought I'd bring it up. The current season is on Direct TV at the moment, then is switching over to basic cable sometime during the summer but if you have any way of catching this, I'd really suggest it. This season has been the second best so far, just barely behind season 1, which is amazing since they've been slowly bringing in a whole new group of kids and moving away from some fan favorites. Anyways, I just wanted to make this post after the absolute soul crushing episode last week, which sort of continued its run into this week. In my opinion, there are few shows that are as well written and bring you through the roller coaster of emotions as much as FNL.
