I may just have to make my way up to Boston then. Gaslight and Murder by Death are great and I know I had Broadway Calls on my computer before the harddrive gave out (nearly 50GB of music out the window. Again.) so it looks pretty good for me.

I really enjoyed the first season, but I hate watching shows on TV because after one episode, you have to wait a whole week. I'd much rather wait until the end, sit down and do a marathon of the entire season. That said, I may break my rule due to the fact that the preview for this season looked so awesome.

Murder by Death is fantastic. I believe YI put it best in saying it sounds like the Old West. Where is this show anyways?

I never get collectors editions. I don't want figures or booklets, I just want to play the damn game. Extra stuff just takes up room and the boxes they come in won't fit anywhere so I'll get frustrated and end up throwing them away. I'll just stick with the game and put it on the shelf with the others.

If they do finally make a Halo movie, they could just take that style, make it two hours and it would be great. Everything looked perfect, from the weapons to the enemies. I will be satisfied by Halo ODST coming out in a couple weeks though.

Would've been done way sooner if Troy Duffy wasn't such a cock. Anyways, it looks alright but the action scenes don't look as interesting now as when it came out in '99. Pretty much everything has been done at this point. I'll most likely still watch it and enjoy but I'm sure it won't blow me away.

I just found out that The Unit was canceled. Fucking hell.

Why not just vacate the belt, make Fedor/Rogers for it and if Overeem decides to get his head out of his ass give him a title shot? That way you get rid of the WAMMA belt, you give the belt to a big star (Fedor if he does his usual stuff or Rogers will get over like shit if he beats Fedor) and you're not counting on a guy that hasn't defended the belt since 2007.

Nice build to the season finale. Having to wait two weeks sucks though. It's going to be even worse afterwards though. As for my thoughts on the episode..

Marquardt knocking out Maia was awesome, don't get me wrong. I'm mainly disappointed in the Thaigo Silva fight. I'm glad he won, but I figured the fight would be a really entertaining one. You just never know with MMA though, you can get a great fight or a lackluster one. Unfortunately we got the later.

Ok, I just watched the three main fights from UFC 102 and was pretty let down overall. Couture/Minotauro was awesome. Three rounds of action, Randy getting hit with stuff and thrown in submissions but showing heart and Nogueira taking some shots and putting forward a well rounded fight. Good stuff all around. Jardine/Silva and Marquardt/Maia both were disappointing to me. I thought that Silva/Jardine in particular was going to be a fun fight but both fights were over quick. It can't be helped though.

Can I get in on this? I'd like to beat everyone

DON'T WATCH THE SECOND MOVIE! Seriously, the second Starship Troopers is so terrible I can't even begin to descibe it. Everyone that is a fan of the first movie and hasn't seen the second, just skip right over it. You'll thank me.

Blueprint 3 and Relapse 2 for sure. After that, I'm not really sure whats coming out right now, I usually find out a couple days beforehand.

Finally watched the episode and really enjoyed it. Finally brought everyone back from Dallas and the Maryanne storyline (which was alot less interesting in my opinion) seriously picked up. The Jessica/Hoyt situation was crazy, you can pretty much go anywhere with that but I hope they keep them together. The ending was great though, perfect way to introduce a new character, although I wish they would have shown her, at least for a second. Bill's horrified look was good though.

Yes! What a ridiculously awesome movie. Its somewhere in my top ten movies but I haven't gotten around to watching it in a while. I'd have to give it another watch sometime soon.

I can't wait to watch this episode, I'm going to hold off until tomorrow though, I usually watch Entourage and True Blood back to back on Monday when I wake up. Might not be able to resist though.

I think folding the WEC into the UFC would be a terrible idea. The WEC has been doing very good on its own, has its own stars and puts on some really entertaining fights. Why mess with success? If you added the WEC guys to the UFC, you'd only get 1-2 fights from them each show, while now you're getting full shows on Versus (I really wish they would get a better deal though, something that will allow them to get a wider audience)

It's a half hour series, 5 episodes isn't THAT impressive. I got through nearly a whole season in one day, but that could be due to the fact I have no life Anyways, I'm putting off beginning to watch Mad Men, Deadwood and a couple of other shows and watching some random stuff. Started watching Supernatural on the advice of a friend and really enjoy it. It's like the X-Files with a classic rock soundtrack.

Yea, Godric is definately not Jesus. Was a terrific episode though and like the poster above me said, it had a definative ending which is nice after the cliffhangers we've had so far this season and ended that story arc perfectly. I'm assuming that the shit is going to hit the fan next episode since everyone should be coming home and finding out what the hell had happened while they were gone.

I just got back from watching District 9 as well (totally agree with you too), the trailer absolutely bombed here too. It just didn't work well on screen, but my friends decided it looked awful enough to go see, so I guess it did its job in a screwed up way.

District 9 - 9 out of 10 I just got back from seeing this, so my rating is just from gut reaction and may go down (or even further up) after sleeping on it, but I loved this movie. The way it was directed might turn some people off (everyone except one person liked in the group I went with) but I think it works perfectly with the movie. The movie was packed and although a couple people walked out in the beginning, it seemed that most of the crowd enjoyed it. Definately worth a watch in my opinion, although you might think differently.
