  1. Woody Harrelson is awesome. Action movies are awesome. Zombies? Awesome yet again. Add all that up and what do you have? A fucking glorious movie experience.

    True Blood

I finally got around to start watching this show (currently watching the first episode) but I wanted to say that the opening credits are fantastic. Like, the best opening credits I've seen before. EDIT: Six episodes in and i'm loving it. It's the type of show where you'll run the gauntlet of emotions in an episode. It's a bit slow paced at times but not enough to be too annoying. I love the fact that its based in the deep south, you don't see too many shows from there and its a fantastic setting for nearly anything but especially vampires. They just go together beautifully. Two thumbs up from me so far.
  3. I thought that's what this thread was? Obscure bands that almost nobody has heard of.
  4. Watch, next time you see a picture of them, there will only be four and he'll look fatter. I mean, check that picture you posted at the beginning of the thread, look at their eyes. You can see the fear in there easily. I bet they ran screaming after that picture got taken. Jesus, I mean the one in the middle with the jewfro looks like he's about to cry right there.
  5. It's like music for people with ADD, they just get distracted during the song and wander over to another genre. Honestly, I could listen to it if there wasn't so much switching around. That video was almost as ridiculous as Brokencyde's though, which I thought would never happen but Brokencyde's random guy in a pig suit and one of their vocalists almost throwing up after taking a swig of the bottle can't be beat. LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Brokencyde, winners yet again. EDIT: What I really should say is that I could listen to them, if I never saw their faces. Jesus, in that picture you posted, the second from the left looks like it ate another member of the band earlier and is slowly digesting it like a snake. Seriously, that picture makes me want to punch each member of the band in the face. Thats the most punchable faces in a single band I've seen............since the Brokencyde picture a sentence or two above it.

    True Blood

Much like Scum Fan, I've decided to check out this show as well after hearing nothing but good things about it. Hopefully I'll be getting to it next week, after I finish watching The Shield and Sons of Anarchy.
  7. Fantastic. The shark jumped thousands of feet in the air and grabbed a plane! How can you not want to see this?!
  8. That could work, but they tried the multiple enemy route last time and fucked it up severely. I hope they do a better job of balancing it out if they go that route because that seems like it could be a pretty good idea.
  9. How about the Rhino? Really anything would be better after the crap they pulled last time. I hope they don't go with multiple villains again though.
  10. I agree with the Mayor West idea but I also think a show about the Quahog 5 News Station would be awesome too.
  11. I see nothing wrong with Shia LaBeouf, he's good for what he does and plays the regular guy well enough. I think the hate comes because he was in a ton of movies in a short period of time. As for Transformers, I enjoyed the first one for what it was, and this looks to be more of the same. They'll be robots fighting, lots of explosions, Shia running around and Megan Fox looking hot. Nothing more, nothing less.
  12. I was defending GI Joe until I saw a clip of it. Absolute shit. I'm going to be so pissed when this comes out.
  13. Dave Chappelle's Block Party - This might be more of a documentary than a movie, but its still awesome nonetheless. Dave Chappelle decided to put together a block party in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and invite a bunch of people from the town he was living in, in Ohio, most of which weren't fans of rap music. Then he got a ridiculous lineup of artists like Kayne West, Dead Prez, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and if that wasn't enough, he managed to bring The Fugees back together. If you're a fan of rap, you'll like this. If you're a fan of Dave Chappelle, you'll like this.
  14. I make sure the albums are arranged correctly and have proper spelling. I don't give a shit about song titles or anything like that.
  15. Planet Earth looks fantastic on blu-ray. Really anything with water effects or landscape looks incredible.
  16. I heard comedy central asked for 20 odd new episodes.
  17. ...rap thread. Ready been posted.

    Staind - So Far Away

You would be sad too if you were a multimillionaire and couldn't buy a gold plated Ferrari.

    Staind - So Far Away

Staind is great. Anyone that doesn't like them is an awful person who masturbates into the carcasses of dead animals.
  20. night of the living dead. Fairly classic in my view, plus an awesome movie to boot.
  21. http://www.last.fm/user/hellfiremusic I keep putting off getting this thing, so i figured fuck it, might as well. I'm always on the lookout for new shit to listen to.
  22. Some of us just cannot do it right. I apologize.
  23. "Lets Get This Paper" by Rich Boy has been my favorite song for a couple months. A really heartfelt song in a genre that doesn't get too much of it. "No World for Tomorrow" is my favorite Coheed and Cambria song. Favorite C&C CD too.
