  1. Awesome. What I've read of The Walking Dead was great and AMC has been on fire recently, so I'm holding out hope on this being awesome.

You cannot go wrong with Tremors. Ever. One of the greatest corny action movies around.

Interesting story, Unlike others, I enjoyed the trailer and will defintly give this a watch when it comes out. I mean come on, god as the enemy, evil angels AND grandmothers getting blown away with shotguns? Whats not to love?
  4. With all the games coming out soon that will be taking up my time, I really don't think I should pick this up. However, graphic wise it looks so good that I might just get it anyways. Such a hard decision.
  5. Theres no way this hurts him at all. He gets free publicity, maybe some more sales of the game from people that are hoping to get a free game and pays nothing in return because there's no way that Wolfenstein is going to beat Madden in sales.
  6. What was it? Whatever it was, I'm going to assume it sucked. Try harder next time.
  7. The Man from Earth - 9 out of 10 The whole movie pretty much is a conversation between the characters, all in one room. Absolutely incredible though. Run Fatboy Run - 5.5 out of 10 I like Simon Pegg, but this movie kinda fell flat. If it was a comedy, it wasn't very funny. If it was a drama, it wasn't very dramatic. It was a bit of both really, but not enough to make me really like it.
  8. For me, its got to be Call of Duty 4. I've gotten about 25-30 days in multiplayer alone, plus theres the single player which I've done a couple times. Seriously, its a tremendous game.

    True Blood

Great episode. Started off pretty slow but built and built to a fantastic ending. Godric is awesome and the way he diffused the situation at the church instead of just slaughtering everyone was much different than if any of the other vampires had their way. I really liked the swerve at the end, I expected that the Fellowship storyline was pretty much done for now but they just stepped it up by a shitload. I'm hoping that the bomb kills a shitload of vampires, but hopefully not anyone really important (Godric, Bill or Eric) and sets off the beginning of the vampire war. The Maryanne storyline still confuses me. Honestly, I have no idea what the fuck is going on. Between Eggs and Tara eating Daphnes heart (at least that's who I thought was in the freezer) and beating the shit out of each other while black eyed there was so much crazy shit going on. Instead of thinking about it, I'm just going to watch because this could pretty much go anywhere. The whole storyline is just insane and I like the feeling of not knowing what the outcome is going to be.
  10. I'm tired of playing COD4 by myself. Anyone else still playing it? Add me!
  11. Yea, I just watched the Griffin/Silva fight and Silva just made Griffin look like a joke there. Who can stop this guy, seriously? He took out a former UFC Light Heavyweight champion and barely broke a sweat doing so.

    True Blood

I can see this going about 6-7 seasons. They're not really following the books too closely, so I can see them eventually splitting off from them and doing their own thing. Since there is obviously all kinds of weird shit going on, they can bring in pretty much anything and have it make sense. I can definitely see warewolves appearing at some point which should be fun.
  13. I've started playing Call of Duty 4 like crazy as of late, I cannot believe how much time I've put into the multiplayer, its nearly twenty five days at this point. Good stuff still.
  14. Gone Baby Gone - 9.0 out of 10 There is so much to love about this movie. First off, I'm a huge fan of Dennis Lahane, especially the Kenzie/Gennaro books so I was excited to see this but was unsure about how good it was going to be, as I hadn't ever seen Casey Affleck and act or Ben Affleck direct. I gave it a shot and I'm really glad I did because it turned out to be one of my favorite movies that came out in 2007. The story is pretty straight forward to begin with; little girl gets kidnapped and the Private Investigators and Police try to find her. There are twists and turns all along the way and as they get closer and closer to finding out the truth about what happened to the missing girl, they realize that they cannot trust anybody. I hope that in the future they decide to make a sequel, as there are more stories in the Kenzie/Gennaro line that could very easily be turned into movies. I'd also like to see Affleck behind the camera again, as he did a fantastic job. He's much better behind the camera than in front of it.
  15. From what I remember, he said a crowbar and food for everyone.

    True Blood

A bit of a filler episode after the fantastic one last week, but it did tie up a couple things while giving us some more stuff to figure out. Spoiler: Click here to viewI like finally knowing what the hell Maryanne is, but killing off Daphne sucks. I guess there really wasn't much else for her to do as she revealed herself to be working for Maryanne already and she obviously wasn't into Sam. Surprised that Eggs was the one that has been killing people though, even if he doesn't actually know that he's doing it. Jason kicking the shit out of that dickhead was great, I'm assuming he got hit with a stun gun or a tranquilizer because killing him would just be retarded. Finally seeing Godric was interesting, I wonder why Eric flew out and but Godric was the one to save her? He doesn't look like someone being held captive. Bill acting like a bitch in both the 30's and today didn't do much for me. Honestly, I like Sookie and Bill a lot less than the other characters, they seem more one dimensional than everyone else. I'm hoping Bill gets to go to the Fellowship of the Sun and starts slaughtering people in front of Sookie. Overall wasn't a bad episode but I think next weeks will be even better.
  17. I think they should stick with Goldberg and Rogan, then bring in Couture, Mir or whoever really from time to time to commentate on a match or two just to shake it up a little.
  18. Fucking terrible. I'll join you in listening to Fan-Tas-Tic.
  19. I checked out the trailer and really wasn't interested but I'm not really surprised. For some reason, the Coen Brothers don't do anything for me. I've seen The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, Burn After Reading and most of Fargo and couldn't get into any of them. Not my taste I guess.
  20. Rambo II: 8 out of 10 - Continuing with the Rambo movies here. Rambo II is far different than First Blood. While First Blood was about a soldier with PTSD fighting back against a country that didn't care about him anymore, Rambo II just sends him into Vietnam to kill Viet Cong army and some Russians for good measure to save some Prisoners of War. Don't get me wrong, it was a damn good action movie, but it didn't have the story of the first. Just rating it as a pure 80's cheesy action movie though, it rates pretty high.
  21. I just finished watching the third season of Friday Night Lights. Really good stuff, I keep forgetting how much I actually like this show. They're slowly phasing out the main characters, as a high school drama should (nobody stays in high school forever), which is kind of sad at the same time because they are characters that you actually care about. I'm really curious to see what happens next season. Two or three more main characters are going to be leaving, but they've already brought one kid in and there should be some interesting storylines going on with the Dillon/East Dillon rivalry and Coach Taylor getting revenge for being fucked over. War, Inc.: 5.5 out of 10 - A decent little political satire movie with a pretty nice cast taking place in a fictional country in the middle east. John Cusack, Hilary Duff and Marisa Tomei all did a good job here. Nothing too special but if you really like one of those or political satire, give it a shot. Rambo First Blood: 9 out of 10 - A classic action movie, one of my favorites of all time. Stallone is awesome and the action wasn't over the top which is nice as many movies have things that are just ridiculous at times. I'm sure everyone has seen this by now, but if you haven't you definately should find a copy. In fact, I think i'm going on a Rambo movie marathon, it just feels right. Away we go!
  22. Fracture: 6.5 out of 10 - A neat little murder/suspense movie right here. Everyone knows that Anthony Hopkins can play a great psychopath but he does it a bit different here, as his character seems like a smug old bastard that thinks he's smarter than everyone around him. I like Ryan Gosling although I haven't seen him in many movies before, he does a pretty good job as the district attorney. Its a bit different than most murder movies because everyone knows who did it to begin the movie, its just a matter of finding out how he's trying to get away from it. The reveal is pretty decent too, nothing over the top and the ending of the movie was pretty obvious, but wrapped things up nicely.
  23. One of the articles said that the special affects were done for free by the one of the people that did the effects for X Men Wolverine, plus he got actors off of facebook. If you have enough contacts and stuff, its totally possible to do something like this. If this is even a minor success then he'll have a much easier time finding funding for another movie.
  24. The music and video fit together really well in my opinion. I hadn't seen that until now and that aquarium looks pretty damn cool. Totally want to see that one day.

    True Blood

I can see most of it being wrapped up this season. The only thing that will definitely continue next season would be.. Spoiler: Click here to viewthe Vampire War, if it begins this season. It's definitely going to happen and I wouldn't' be surprised if they focused an entire season on it, but I don't know when they'll do it. I hope they hold off for another season or two because they have enough awesome stuff happening right now and they could just build up the tension between both sides even more. Other than that, I'm fairly sure they can wrap things up nicely within six episodes. I'm most likely wrong though, because they've surprised me at every turn so far.
