I would prefer Baros in my team than Morientes though, I agree with that.

I'd rather have Owen than either of them.

Baros is wasteful, runs with his head down and seems completeley unaware of things around him (and apparantly missed a shitload of chances today, although I don't know if that's true or not) whilst Morientes looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Baros was our only striker for much of last season and was, overall, extremely poor.

Baros isn't the type of player who does well playing alone though, is he? The simple point is, he's young, clinical, passionate. Morientes just likes his pay-check by the looks of things. And Benitez is too stupid to realise Cisse is your best striker by a mile or 15.

It doesn't change the fact that Baros doesn't acknowledge anyone else around him 90% of the time. Even when he was playing with Cisse or Morientes up front (or Garcia just behind) he still tried to take on the entire defence on his own. Even if he is playing with someone else he ignores them most of the time.
