I'll go with the obvious "I'm not embarassed by what I like, because I like it".

Although I do like James Blunt, Savage Garden is a little iffy in my collection next to other stuff, and I guess Norah Jones can get thrown into that pile as well (not overly embarassing, just looks a little weird sitting next to Emperor records)

I'm not embarassed by any music I listen to, why should I be? But if we're going to be talking about what looks odd in my CD collection, the first Alex Parks album right next to some experimental grindcore is a bit strange. Same goes for Candi Staton.

EDIT: That said, I'm ashamed to own the Chad Kroeger/Josey Scott single, a couple of HIM albums and, to a lesser extent, Jamie Cullum and Katie Melua albums. Although, the first Katie Melua album is alright, it's just in the wake of "Nine Million Bicycles" that she's become somewhat embarassing.

I don't think this is really a subject of being 'embarassed' by what you listen to. More a case of, a song you would/do hate, but can't stop listening to for some reason. I really like 'Move Along' whenever I hear it, but afterwards, when I think about how shite it actually is, and how annoying it is to have stuck in my head, I hate myself for listening to it in the first place. I think that makes sense anyway.

I love Melua's first album.
