Anyone have any opinions on this movie? I think I will be picking up the DVD in July, just because this movie was possibly the best I have ever seen.

I came here expecting something to do with chaos theory. :(

I haven't saw it, but I was told that it was sub-par. Either way, Ashton Kutcher sucks.

Ashton Kutcher and "best movie ever" just don't seem like two things that would go together. Everyone I know who saw the movie said it was mediocre, so I'd have to say I'm glad I haven't seen it as of yet.

It was lame. They took a mildly interesting plot and made... that. There were many movies made worse than it this year, but there were also a ton better. Think I gave it 5/10.

i thought it was great. i went with a couple friends and we had an awesome time. It wasnt the best movie of the year but it was in my top ten.

I agree...I loved that movie. It may have also had to do with the atmosphere of the theater I went to (Movie was LOUD almost made it seem like a true horror movie with how many times people jumped) but I still loved the movie also.

Yeah, but you liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Well... yeah. I liked a movie with a 92% Fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.com and currently ranked number 44 on IMDB's list of all time greatest movies. Was that supposed to be a dig, or were you just trying to be ironic?

I think he was pointing out that you are an "arty" cinema fan.

I didn't enjoy Butterfly Effect, thought it was pretty lame. And for the record, I didnt'd dig Eternal Sunshine that much either.

we are talking 'AMERICAN BEAUTY'?. i fucking love that film...

Hmmm a worthless post and then another worthless post.

I didn't get to see BE when it was in theatres, but I'll be renting it when it comes out on video as it seems interesting

The movie was lame and featured some of the silliest child acting I've ever seen. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the there was only one flashback and it was 5 minutes long.....but there's about 4 or 5, and they take up a good portion of the flick.

The only good thing the movie had going for it was that it was kinda fun to guess how fucked up things would be after he messed with the past.

** or (4/10)

If you felt that it was the best movie you have ever seen, why wouldn't you pick up the DVD?

Meh. It was a good concept but it just threw too many dark curves too quickly, not to mention Kutch and Smart should stick to slapstick. The ending sufficed for what it was and the movie was good at parts but definitely not anything like Snyper stated. 6.5/10 or (**1/2)

btw, I go on the four star system.

I was watching the movie and applauded when the baby exploded. Otherwise, pretty dull, although I was expecting much worse.

It was personally one of my favorite movies of 2004, and is still on my top 10 movies, after ive watched about 50-60 movies.
