I like how the game tells you when players get released too.

I've picked up a couple of decent players mid-season who have been dropped by a club in league 2.

Yeh an Inc file should become available soon which will also fix the competition names. Im looking for the same thing so i'll post a link when i have found it mate.

Finished my first season. The Man City board are wankers. I was expecting at least £5m to spend on players in the summer, because I need that much, and they are only giving me a poxy £1.5m.

Trebelsi is off to Barcelona. Beasley is going back to PSV, and Warnock is back to Liverpool. I'm releasing a good handful of players too;

Barcelona, Real Madrid and a few other big teams came after Distin, but he stayed with me, after making me sweat for at least 5 months. I've got Duscher, Marie and Voronin coming in on frees. I hope Liverpool give me back Warnock.

We finished 10th. West Ham won the FA Cup. Boro won the League Cup. Man Utd won the Premiership. Inter won the Champions League and Sevilla retained the Uefa Cup.

EDIT: Fixing the names/national team thing should be as simple as deleting the fake.inc file should it not?

Got mine from Play earlier today, so now I'm extremely tempted to bunk off work tomorrow.

I hope they release a patch soon; the injuries especially are really annoying me, they're not minor injuries either, I've got three players out (Convey, Lita and Sonko) out for 2 months plus after two friendlies.

Changing Oliver Kahn's name is easy I've just found out. All you need to do is open up the "fake.inc" file (Sports Int>data>db>700>inc) and just replace "Jens" with "Oliver" and "Mustermann" with "Kahn".

Actually, fixing the Holland and Germany thing is easy as well. In the same file there are lines that read:

#Germany

"FAKE_NATIONAL_TEAM" 771 1

#Holland

"FAKE_NATIONAL_TEAM" 784 1

Just change both the 1's to 0's and it'll work.
