A man from Edinburgh has won a payout of £101,200 after betting on four football matches in the Scottish Cup.

Rory Lewis's £100 accumulator paid out after all four of his chosen teams won their first round ties by four goals or more at the weekend.

He won when Cove Rangers beat Glasgow University 4-0, Huntly defeated Newton Stewart 6-1 and Culter beat Burntisland Shipyard 4-0.

Wick Academy then beat Coldstream 9-1 to secure the payout.

Tony Kenny, spokesman for the bookmaker's William Hill, said: "This punter obviously had a crystal ball when making his selections.

"To bet on four teams to win by four goals was a phenomenal leap of faith and we'd like to wish this shrewd Scotsman all the best with his new-found fortune."

City at nice odds for tonight, around 4/1's on most places (15/4 on 365). Fancy a draw really, but possibly worth a punt on City with those odds.

Lost an Acca last night thanks to the shitness of Sunderland, only would of returned about 12 quid, just got no luck right now. Still, had another for tonight:

United

Benfica

Madrid

Trabz/Lille Draw

Napoli/Villarreal Draw

Quid on, returns 22.

Stuck this on last night:

Watford v Millwall Draw @ 12/5

MK Dons v Charlton Draw @ 12/5

Derby v Barnsley Draw @ 5/2

Bristol City v Reading Draw @ 12/5

Returns something like 135 quid IIRC. Derby should probably beat Barnsley but Barnsley are the draw specialists this year, it'd seem.

Put a fiver on City/Bayern draw, Man Utd, West Ham, Rangers and Lyon to win, get 45 quid back.

Not a good weekend last week.....Fletcher cost me my 2-0 Suarez 1st goalscorer bet and Doncaster actually won a game so lost me my accumulator :(

Napoli will win and spoil that for you, I think.

Probably. Great side, but they've had the smallest of slumps in the last week with a loss to Chievo and then drawing this weekend at home, so I just fancied Villarreal to possibly snatch a point. It's a win/win though, if they draw, great for the bet. If they win, progress in possibly knocking City out.

Had £10 on Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Germany and England @ 14/1

Sweden win 2-1

Denmark win 4-1

Spain win 2-0

Germany win 3-1

England lead 2-0, concede a sloppy goal through lack of concentration on the stroke of half time, Rooney gets sent off because he is a fucking child, England go ultra defensive and concede in the 91st minute. 2-2

tl;dr - Fuck Wayne Rooney the fucking fuck.

Croatia fucked up my accumulator last night, I didn't realise Greece were half decent again <_<

Sheffield Wednesday v Chesterfield Sheffield Wednesday @ 4/6

Charlton v Tranmere Charlton @ 4/7

Wycombe v Walsall Draw @ 12/5

Scunthorpe v Leyton Orient Scunthorpe @ 2/3

Huddersfield v Stevenage Huddersfield @ 8/13

Wymcombe/Walsall or Scunthorpe to let me down.

Hey, remember this thread?

I'm dredging it back up because I've been a betting fiend recently. No real semblance of form or anything, some good days and some bad days.

Tonights bets are;

Fulham v Liverpool over 2.5 goals @ 11/10

Alvaro Negredo anytime goalscorer @ 10/11

Just a little one of Negredo, the Premier League match is my real hope so fingers crossed there. Liverpool look to have a good strike force but perhaps shaky in defensive midfield so Fulham could sneak one but I expect Liverpool to get at least two. They have a good Monday night record as well so fingers crossed. As always in a game like this an early goal will be a great start, for either team usually as you generally want a weaker team who are away to go in front but given the stronger team are away here I think it's moot who scores first if it's early. Fulham get it then you'd expect Liverpool to at least score, if Liverpool get it then Fulham will need to push on and are a) more likely to score and b) more likely to concede again.

Good luck to anyone who may be betting.
