I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I lose interest in games when nobody's posting in the thread and everyone's just waiting on a night update. Two-plus days is just far, far too long in my opinion.

Is it fair to say that the Night phase will end early if everyone happens to get their actions in that quickly, do you think? Or should that sort of thing not be done because some players might not notice and come back late?

Most likely what will happen is that a bunch of actions will come in the first 24 hours, maybe a few later, but the last day or so will be spent waiting to see if people who are completely ignoring the game will send in their actions.

On the issue of night actions, I think a 24-48 hour range is probably best. It gives a great percentage of people enough time to get their actions in. Let's face it, most of us that post on here are on more often than that, and, whilst there's obviously some thought process that goes on with night actions, it's quite easy to pick a target for them when pushed.
