The channel that owns the rights to the Premiership's Tuesday-Friday games this year is utter balls of shit. For one they air theme music when someone scores. THIS ISN'T MEXICO. Then the commentator is ex-NFL or CFL or whatever and is retarded. At half time he was all "I can't wait for Nani to come on" even though he was playing at the start and then called him a great "running back". Then they had a panel talking about how the English press sucked on account of the whole "lol, Chelsea wins/Man Utd mid-table/Spurs dead/Sunderland for the CL" attitude even though they had a logo that said THE RACE TO THE PREMIERSHIP TITLE and had their Mexican commentator go "Joo know, if Man Joo don't win, they lose the title" or something like that. Horrible.

Oh and they show multiple games on one screen. Now I don't mind when this is done for updates, not for minutes on end for no reason :@

On the other hand, fun games today :shifty:

Better than nothing.

Since I have only regular cable instead of the expanded package with Fox Soccer Channel, I got to wait until Tuesday for the game of the week. That's right, one game a week and three days behind everyone else. On Fox Sports Net. This week was Reading vs. ManYoo

By the sound of it, barely better. That would really drive me batshit insane.

Perhaps it's Man City breaking in to the top 4 and not Spurs.

Man U 4 points behind :) thats already two wins behind, it's way to early to call it an advantage but at the end of the day, it is lol.

I don't think Chelsea will lose to many this year, i can see Man U losing again Sunday and Chelsea winning, will it then be considered a laughable advantage? If it goes like i think and hope it does, i can't see Chelsea blowing it, even though it is early days.

Everton, Man City and Newcastle have all been better then Spurs, i have to agree with Hansen, there's no point in having the spectacular strike force if you can't defend and Spurs seem to be in the same ship as Chelsea, without King/Terry both teams seem to struggle defensively.

Still early days though.

Come on Chelsea :P

Everton, Man City and Newcastle aren't having a major injury crisis. When Spurs get a few key players back, we'll be just as good as they've been if not better.

Blimey everyone has gone mad this season. Sky Sports keep reporting how Spurs, Bolton and United are yet to win this season...of course they ignore the fact that it is only 2 blinking games long!

Nothing is decided 2 games into the season. I doubt that this season will witness the sprint all the way through that has been seen before from Chelsea and Man U. That's because teams have strengthened this season and games will be much tighter. I expect to see Everton doing well this season as they have a strong and talented midfield and then with Johnson up front have a man who guarantees them goals.

Spurs will turn things around in due time they had a shite start last season and still ended up fifth. 2 games in is far to early to start deciding that Chelsea have won the league.

Seriously, have people watched the Premiership the last couple of seasons? No-one is saying Chelsea have won the league, but with how Man U and Chelsea have performed in seasons just gone, a 4 point gap even at this stage of the season is something of note, because Chelsea don't drop that many points.

Still, its a Portsmouth side who beat United last year (and Liverpool IIRC). The idea that anyone is in/out of a title race or relegation battle is a bit far-fetched. Who is to say that because of the improvement of teams outside the top 4, we won't see a season where teams lose a bit more, like before Arsenal went 49 unbeaten?

Oh, of course no-one is out anything yet, but the way Man U and Chelsea have steam-rollered thier way to titles recently, that Man U have started off with two draws against 'lesser' opposition than your top 4 is a surprise, especially as a lot of people thought Man U with thier new signings would run away with it again this season.

Its something different to comment upon then 'Chelsea and Man U win....again', I guess.
