"I miss you, unca... but I've stopped crying now. I've grown up, I've taken your place at IDS and... I'm happy, unca."

A single tear falls, as Ashley Summers, now in her early 20s, crouches at the grave site of her late great uncle, Rayne Summers. It's been 18 years now since his untimely death, but those days still hurt her to the day. Her uncle inspired her as a child, and after she got her revenge for his death... she decided to follow in his footsteps.

A small smile cracked her lips; no, she wouldn't be the promiscuous deviant he was, but she would certainly bring smiles to people's faces, take control where he'd lost it, and do what she could to keep the Summers' family name strong.

Even after all these years, she was still proud to be his niece.

She had seen so much improvement in the webcomic industry since those days were over. The brave Cardboard Tube Samurai had given his everything to a town he'd believed in and, after the smoke of the battle had cleared that day... the war was finally over. The webcomic industry had survived, and would begin to flourish yet again.

Ashley only wished her uncle would have lived to see it all happen. She still kept in touch with the brave souls who fought for the webcomic industry's survival, too:

The Cardboard Tube Samurai, growing older, now was a world-wandering warrior on a path to enlightenment. Even though he was only in his late 30s, the samurai had become so intelligent over the years it still astounded her.

Eric Millikin was researching the dark arts that were holding back his immortality. Still confined to the lives he'd had left since those days, he desired to find his true immortality again, so he could finally go back to his old ways. The good news was, he wasn't seeking them out of greed, but out of desire to set things back to normal for himself. Ashley even helped fund his trip overseas to look into different cults regarding the subject.

Kiyoshi Masamune and Sally were married by now, and they already had two kids with a third on its way. Apparently, "Kiyoshi Jr." was still going strong... she could only chuckle at that; her uncle surely would have loved to shake Kiyoshi's hand. Provided he washed it first, that is.

The T-Rex was doing well... Ashley helped fund a Jurassic Park-esque reserve where he could live peacefully with his friends, away from too much human interaction. He still sent her postcards to the day, telling her about how things are going.

Ian McConville now owned his own Gaming Company, sponsored by IDS. It sold enormously popular games on an international level, and Ian could not be happier. He was married now as well, and his family was very, very well off thanks to all the money being made from his company.

Speaking of his company: Adam, the ex-Gamers United member, made up with the members of the old town and now actually works as VP at Ian's company. He's living a much better life now, and has almost completely forgotten about the horrors that he'd seen take place while he was a part of the G.U.

Touro Maebashi never did get to sleep with Madame X, but he moved on since then. She hadn't actually heard from him in quite a long time; the last he'd heard, he was found whimpering outside a Japanese massage parlor. Apparently, their methods weren't as gentle as he'd have liked, and his "happy ending" wasn't so much a sexual adventure as it was a terrible, terrible violation of his lower parts. Some people just can never catch a break, no matter how much time passes, can they?

Back then, these times seemed like they could only be dreams; however, now she was living in them. Who would have thought, back then, that that was possible?

And how could it be, that now, after all these years... the dream would soon be in such grave danger?
