I had a HUGE WCW title tournament, where I played every single match, randomly deciding who I would play as as each match came up. Some BRILLIANT matches. Kane eventually won, despite me not playing as him ONCE throughout the entire tournament. He demolished Matt Hardy in the first round, after I (as Matt) kicked out of a chokeslam, but when I attempted a top rope clothesline, countered, caught me in the chokeslam UCG, hit that, earned a finisher, picked me up and chokeslammed me for the third time to win.

He then annihilated Punk in the second round, and Regal (who I really wanted to win) in the finals, before having a decent match against Flair (me playing as him) before eventually hitting the chokeslam for the win, and the title.

Some really surprisingly good matches, Punk vs Finlay in the first round was good, and Mark Henry vs Regal (also in the first round) was far more epic than it had any right to be. It was awesome. In the first round with me playing as Cody Rhodes vs Batista, Batista hit a few clotheslines, countered a charge into the turnbuckle, hit a backbreaker, then followed it up with a full nelson slam, then hit the Batista bomb for the win. Quickest I've ever lost a match, but I thought it was brilliant, lost in under a minute, and here was me thinking Rhodes could have been a potential underdog champion.

Through luck of the draw, I ended up playing as Regal in all of his matches, which was great, he's REALLY fun to play as, if you remove the knee trembler as a finish, and just give him a regular running knee. Replace that with the Regal Stretch as a finisher, and change his signatures to Tiger Bomb 2 and Half Nelson suplex. Makes him feel a lot more rounded, but I HATE that the Regal Stretch isn't a submission move. It feels utterly pointless pinning someone after putting them in a submission hold.

I thought the only non-SS move that gives a tap out is Undertaker's choke? Well, I've played as Regal and absolutely destroyed my opponent, and they still don't tap. So unless I have to actually kill them first, I'm pretty sure it does. I thought being a Submission specialist just means you can get submissions off non-finisher or signature SS submission moves? They still have to be SS though, I'm pretty sure.

I don't think Taker's choke can make someone tap out, at least they never did with me...

Anyone else finding Legend difficulty too easy? I'm playing on PS2 atm (borrowed, still) so I can't go online, has anyone got any suggestions for some challenges? Anything that's not MITB, as I've played that about 4 times now :x

I'm considering adjusting the sliders++, but I'm not sure how much. Anyone got any suggestions?

I find the later matches in Carreer the most enjoyable. (versus Big Show for WWE Championship = 20 min epic.)

Certainly change the momentum bar speed, put it on slow as it usually means longer matches, well certainly does for me. Change the slides for sure because it helps a great deal.

Got to the World/WWE title paths in career now and shit it's maybe too big of a step. I moaned because it was way too easy at first, now it's just fucking ultra hard. Not a bad thing of course, although I do need to change the reversal slider a bit more because it feels like the computer now reverses at least once out of every two move attempts, which obviously becomes slightly annoying after a while, but the sliders should help that out. Much more challenging though, hard as shit and I've been battered by Triple H in a HIAC, then faced Jeff in a HIAC and got my head kicked in. First he throws me off the cell twice with the little Samoan drop style special move thing, then does the same...but through a fucking announcers table. Which brings me to the question, what moves are there that you can do off of the cell other than that one, chokeslam and the obvious kick and throw one? I tried that Samoan drop style one but it didn't work for some reason :/

I've asked this before as well but nobody really answered, when I feel I don't want to continue anymore with my current CAW's career, can I just start a new one with another CAW but also keep the other CAW's stats still? It's just that when I went to start a new career to try, it said something about losing all the stats of any other CAW's, unless I'm reading into it wrongly. And when/how do you complete career mode? Is it after you win all the titles?

Also had a fantastic match online yesterday. Battle Royal, one of the guys has that pure pathetic choke bomb of death move and because it's bullshit, he went out first because it seemed none of us wanted it done on us ( :shifty: ). Then we had a match that went on for about thirty minutes and was just pure awesome. Undertaker, Edge and me as Cena. Undertaker must of taken about four/five finishers but still was kicking out, same for me and Edge. Then I get eliminated, which I was cool with because it'd be an awesome back and forth match. Taker/Edge went on for at least another ten minutes with just a great back and forth brawl, with both of them kicking out of another finisher or two each and were somehow in almost full red body. Ended with Taker winning and although I'd lost I was happier than what I am when I win, because it was great to have one of those rare great matches that feel like you're playing with your mates.

I found it kind of hard when I started on the World\WWE title paths, however when I was nearing the end of my second I found myself having dominating matches. Don't even get me started on Tornado tag style matches. Choose a good partner that you don't have to worry about and go for the guy who isn't focusing on you, and you're pretty much set most of the time.
