WCW 2000 Mafia

Okay, the rules:

* This is, as of now, a 30-person Mafia game.

* All standard Mafia rules apply.

* The moderator promises he will not make himself a character.

* The spirit of 2000 WCW will be in full force.

* Gimmick posting is encouraged, and in some cases, mandatory.

* Vince McMahon will not purchase this Mafia. That happened in 2001.

* Some roles have been reserved. Deal with it.

A few bonus rules specifically for WCW 2000 Mafia:

* The WCW Title. One person will hold the WCW Championship at all times. That person cannot be directly killed during the night phase. At the start of the game, the Jeff Jarrett role will be WCW Champion. Should the WCW Champion be eliminated from the game, whoever made the decisive lynch vote or night action will assume the WCW title.

* Instant lynches. People will be randomly paired off by a member of the game. Whoever does the pairings has the option of telling the thread what they are or keeping it to himself. The person you are paired with will be considered your "opponent" during the day phase. Should you vote for your opponent, it is an automatic lynch. Example: Slogger is being bandwagonned, and in an attempt to escape the lynch, votes at random for sirdavs. Unbeknownst to him, the matchmaker set "Slogger vs. sirdavs" as a match on the day phase. As a result, the lynch stops, and sirdavs is eliminated. (I have included this role so that people who are being bandwagon'd have a half-chance of saving themselves.) Now, a corollary:

* Unvoting cap. To prevent someone being lynched from changing his vote insanely in an attempt to save himself and find his "opponent", a person may only vote three times during the day phase -- that is, they may only unvote/revote twice. After that, the vote will stick.

Nope. It's just a way to keep everyone on their toes and derail possible bandwagons. Indeed, your "opponent" may not even be the same person every time.
