My Dad generally used to play any 2 player games with me, like football and such. He then went back to Uni, became a lecturer and has subsequently had an X-Box and a PSP. His favourite games are boxing and Ice Hockey, and he and my stepmum also like Lumines.

My stepmum doesn't play games much, though she sat down and completed Crash Bandicoot: Wrath Of Cortex on the X-Box.

My mum doesn't play games at all.

My Step-dad doesn't really either, although he used to play me at PGA Golf 92 back on the Mega Drive.

My mum played that new Mario Bros game on the DS a lot, but she has the really embarrassing habit of swining the thing around, like she always leans to the left when she wants Mario to jump over the hole, as if it'll somehow help >_<

My dad, on the other hand, only learned how to read texts on his mobile last week. I wouldn't hold much hope for him playing anything much more challenging than Pong >_>

My mum hasn't touched a controller since she couldn't figure out how to use Pokemon Stadium on the N64. Actually, now that I think about it, I think that was the last game my dad played as well though he was kinda good at it.

That reminds me. When my brother was away on a school holiday to France, I got him Pokemon Stadium as he was a big Pokemon fan at the time. When he came home, he played my mum. She beat him badly, and fuck, he was nearly in tears! :D

My dad finished Half-Life 2 3 hours quicker than me. He does it with pretty much every shooter and I consider myself good at them.

I remember we used to sit for hours trying to finish Sonic 2 to completion on the Mega Drive because we couldn't save it, meaning losing our last life right at the end meant me picking up a few new words.

My Dad loves a bit of FIFA, Pro Evo, and he used to play a lot of Tomb Raider 1&2, and he's a beast when it comes to the Abe's Odyssey's games on PS1 (which are beautiful beyond all belief). My parents are also beasts when it comes to Kurushi (which again is brilliant for obscure PS1 titles).

They also both like Wii Sports and Wii Play; but then again, who doesn't?

Hahahaha.. class. Your dad reminds me of my own. Just a few weeks ago he came in with a new Razr phone asking me how to read texts.

My dad is pretty tech smart. He's a big Need for Speed fan, and likes all of the driving/racing games, like the NASCAR stuff, Burnout, etc. Back in the day, I can remember him playing games like Phantasmagoria and Myst, and later he got really into the original Half-Life when it first came out.

My mom, on the other hand, likes stuff like Bejeweled and Mahjong. Back when the PS1 was still hip and cool, all three of us you used to sit in my room and take turns playing a game called Road Trip. It was basically a rip-off of Twisted Metal, except more light-hearted and raunchy (is that even possible?).

My dad used to play NES with me from time to time, I remember him liking Mario. He doesn't anymore. My mom tried Sonic once, failed miserably. She plays Mahjong alot though.

My dad plays games way more than I do, because I just haven't got the patience to keep playing most games when I can't get past a level or whatever. But yeah, he's a dab hand at all the Medal of Honor games and a big Pro Evo fan, but that's about all he plays really. He refuses to buy a new Pro Evo game until he's absolutely "mastered" number four though. I think that means beating every team 6-0.

When I was growing up, my father played NHL95 and stuff with me. I don't believe he really played much else, however a couple of years ago he picked up one of those micro management games, this one was about fighting forest fires. Worked for him I guess since he's a fire behaviour specialist with the Department of Natural Resources. He's just starting out to fly the planes that scout the fires, so I assume that a Flight Simulator is on the way. Other than that, it's just Yahoo! Pool for him I guess. Mom just plays Spider Solitaire on the computer now, however I remember when I was in Grade 9 or 10 or something, that she whipped out my Super Nintendo and fucking beat the original Mario Brothers. I never did that, and I haven't to this day for some stupid reason.

My grandparents.. well my grandfather doesn't have a clue what to do with a computer. My grandmother is a PopCap gamer... but when I got the first Guitar Hero, most of the family tried that at least once. I suppose I am forgetting my uncle who piqued my interest in games by handing me off burnt CDs full of pirated games when I was around 10 or so. That's actually how I got to play the first Grand Theft Auto... which I spent fucking days downloading and playing all the mods that were put out for it.

My dad used to play Othello on the NES...great game. Is that available on the XBox Live Arcade? If it isn't, it should be....

Reversi was included as a part of Spyglass Board Games for the Xbox 360 via download from Xbox Live Arcade; its release date was August 1, 2007.
