Why the fuck am I playing in the Champions League final on a SATURDAY?

Oh and I hate Tony Mowbray. After beating him in the FA Cup final I say he's a good manager and shouldn't be sacked. Then in reply to that he says I am incompetent. :(

Because Champions League Final's are always on a Saturday. Duh. <_<

Uhhh, no they aren't. Unless that was sarcasm, if it is I feel very stupid.

XD

Lower the instensity on your training schedules and there should'nt be as many injuries. I don't often tend to have any serious injuries, but I used to when I had higher training workloads.

Just to already confirm what someone, already already stated, the Champions League final will be on a Saturday 2009/2010 on. So bow before the accuracy of Football Manager.

This year's was the last midweek final, from next year they'll be on a Saturday.

I know this isn't really the right topic, but couldn't that potentially fuck up someone somewhere's last day of the season/cup final?

I'd guess the CL final will be the week after the FA Cup Final, which for me is the way it should be. Didn't feel right with the FA Cup Final being after the Champions League this year, even though different teams were involved.

I think the cup competitions in the other big countries (Germany/Italy/Spain, because I don't see a CL finalist coming from anywhere else at the moment) finish earlier than the FA Cup so that shouldn't be a problem.

Right, I've downloaded a shit ton of facepacks today, including the Dinamo Kiev one, so I can have Guilherme's picture up on my United game. However, Guilherme wasn't in the pack, and so I've saved a picture from the internet, making sure it was the correct format (PNG) and size (140x180). I saved it with the file name guilherme, and it just wont work.

It then occurred to me that the rest of the Kiev player pictures have a number as their file name. How can I find this number out for Guilherme to see if that works? Or, if you know why this isn't working for me, could you tell me how to get it working?

Hi I'm Troy McClure. You may remember me from such helpful posts as 'How to escape from your knife wielding boss, who's wife you just banged' and 'Why won't my penis go hard!'

Today I'm here to tell you how to get a players picture in to Football Manager 2009.

Make a folder in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\graphics\

Download Config.xml and put it in the folder.

Find out your players unique ID

Change the values shown to your unique ID, on the xml file

Save the image you want to use as your unique ID.png and put it in the folder you made.

Then go on Preferences > Display & Sound and untick 'Use Skin Cache' and tick 'Always Reload Skin on Confirm'. Once done press Confirm and it should now work.
