I was gonna suggest Disturbed - Down With The Sickness as it's on the 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake.

You could probably get away with a lot of Metallica tracks as well as Some Kind of Monster ( ), All Nightmare Long, Enter Sandman and For Whom The Bell Tolls to name three.

QOTSA - Song For The Dead

Raveonettes - Bowels of the Beast

David Okumiev - Ripe For The Devil (don't ask, Driv3r soundtrack)

Guns N Roses/Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil

Shinedown - Heroes (just kinda by the title really to be honest)

Spineshank - New Disease

AC/DC - Highway to Hell

Pantera/Between the Buried and Me - Cemetary Gates

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell

The Black Hand - Let Your Devil Die

The Bronx - Shitty Future (for some reason, it just seems to fit)

Chad Kroeger - Hero (the Spiderman 1 theme)

CKY - 96 Quire Bitter Beings

Drowning Pool - Bodies

L7 - Pretend We're Dead

Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards - Mainlining Murder

Nine Inch Nails - Dead Souls, Head Like A Hole

Don't forget Gangrel's theme, or the version on Aggression. ^_^

Some may've been repeated in K's lists, but meh.

The Misfits go without speaking, but Glenn Danzig's solo work certainly ought to be picked through.

Here is my Halloween shortlist...

1. The Misfits - Halloween I

2. The Misfits - Halloween II

3. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Up Jumped The Devil

4. The Stooges – Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell

5. Soul Coughing - Bus to Beelzebub

6. Dave Matthews - Halloween

7. James Brown – Hell

8. Elvis Costello - Spooky Girlfriend

9. Danzig - Am I Demon?

10. Dio - Evil Eyes

11. Danzig - Heart of the Devil

12. Filter - One

13. The Cure - Lullaby

14. X - Crystal Ship

15. Robert Johnson - Me And The Devil Blues

Cradle of Filth have a number of instrumental tracks from their albums that incorporate all sorts of creepy shit. Try that.

I'll echo the Rocky Horror love. If you play any of those songs at any Halloween shindig and you don't have a huge group of people having a blast with them, then you need to spray lead into the crowd you have and find a new one.

Wednesday 13 and his related projects, the Frankenstein Drag Queens or the Murderdolls... all have some pretty good Halloween stuff.

You could lighten the mood with some Zombina and the Skeletones.

45 Grave's classic Party Time is a neccessity.

You need to have Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus, maybe even throw in their cover of Ziggy Stardust.

If you want to mix it up a little, throw in some 50's flavored stuff... Bella Morte does a chilling cover of Earth Angel.

Black Sabbath could be fun. Everyone will know the classics.

Blitzkid have some really cool tracks to add... Pretty in a Casket and Starlite Decay both come to mind.

The Horrorpops or Nekromantix would provide some cool Halloween tunes.

I Am Ghost has a bunch of pretty haunting tracks.

Check out King Diamond's newest album for some pretty sick stuff.

Lordi's Hard Rock Hallelujah, or something else could be cool. As a side, GWAR is never out of style either.

Marilyn Manson... I don't think I need to say much here.

The 69 Eyes, HIM, Bronx Casket Company, the Creepshow and the Independents are all good choices as well... I'll add in the Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd soundtracks as something to listen to...

and something new, just came out last Tuesday... the Repo! the Genetic Opera soundtrack... fucking class. Check that out.

"Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult is a must!

"Time", "Sons of the Silent Age", "African Night Flight", "Breaking Glass", and "Ashes to Ashes" all by David Bowie

"End of the Night" and "Not to Touch the Earth" by The Doors

Also "Pet Sematary" by The Ramones just for the fun of it.

Adding to the .45 Grave suggestion, "Riboflavin Flavored, Noncarbonated, Poly-Unsaturated Blood". Awesome song.
