Yeah in case you can't tell, The Happening was in my top ten worst movies EVER!!!!!!!!!!! list. At number 5.

Some of these nominations reek of being nominated simply based on their name or the movie, rather than whether or not they were actually bad.

example: Paris Hilton played the part of Amber Sweet to perfection in Repo! the Genetic Opera... but, because it's Paris Hilton, she must have sucked, right?

On a plus note, at least SOMEONE is recognizing Uwe Boll's lifetime achievements.

Some of these I really cant agree with. Eddie Murphy in 'Meet Dave' really has nothing 'worst actor' written on it. It was a decent little film.

WORST PICTURE: "Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans" (joint entry), "The Happening", "The Hottie and the Nottie", "In the Name of the King", "The Love Guru"

These movies need to fucking stop. They aren't funny. They are just scene after scene of parodies of other movies or tv shows or some kind of current event. At least the original Scary Movie did it right and focused mainly on one movie, Scream, and just tinkered with it a bit to make it something funny. These new _______ Movies that keep coming out are just horrid beyond belief and I can't believe there are people that watch these movies, let alone help fund the people behind it by going to the theaters to see them.

WORST ACTOR: Larry the Cable Guy ("Witless Protection"), Eddie Murphy ("Meet Dave"), Mike Myers ("The Love Guru"), Al Pacino ("88 Minutes"), Mark Wahlberg ("The Happening")

Larry The Cable Guy isn't that funny a comedian in the first place. All he has going for him is some southern hick shtick that is occasionally funny, but he's really only good when he has the other three guys with him. Health Inspector was only good because it had the hot mom from Grounded For Life. Some people just shouldn't act, and Larry is on that list. Eddie Murphy I cannot fathom how he was a bad actor in a movie where he portrayed an alien. If anything, the acting from him was spot on considering the part he was playing. Mike Meyers would be my second choice here. Just don't find the guy that good outside of Austin Powers. Al Pacino and Mark Wahlberg are on the fence for me.

WORST ACTRESS: Jessica Alba ("The Love Guru"), Annette Benning et al. ("The Women"), Cameron Diaz ("What Happens in Vegas"), Paris Hilton ("The Hottie and the Nottie"), Kate Hudson ("My Best Friend's Girl")

I really can't say I like Jessica Alba in much of anything other than skimpy clothes. Cameron Diaz wasn't that bad in Vegas, and neither was Kate Hudson in an otherwise horrible movie with Dane Cook, who's only good movie was Employee of the Month I guess.

WORST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Uwe Boll ("Postal"), Pierce Brosnan ("Mamma Mia!"), Ben Kingsley ("The Love Guru"), Burt Reynolds ("In the Name of the King"), Verne Troyer ("The Love Guru")

No comment here.

WORST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Carmen Electra ("Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans"), Paris Hilton ("Repo the Genetic Opera"), Kim Kardashian ("Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans"), Jenny McCarthy ("Witless Protection"), Leelee Sobieski ("88 Minutes")

Tie for me, just because of the movies they were in. Carmen Electra because well, she really didn't add anything to the movie and was nothing more than hot standing in place. Kim Kardashian because she is another cunt in this world that gets popularity she doesn't deserve and wouldn't otherwise have if she didn't get fucked on camera and have the video release, much like Paris Hilton. I just cant stand Kardashian, though, because she is not interesting whatsoever and isnt even that hot to begin with. Big deal, you got fucked by a black guy. Go into porn if that is what you like.

WORST COUPLE: Uwe Boll + ANYTHING ("Postal"), Cameron Diaz + Ashton Kutcher ("What Happens in Vegas"), Paris Hilton + Joel David Moore ("The Hottie and the Nottie"), Larry the Cable Guy + Jenny McCarthy ("Witless Protection"), Eddie Murphy + Eddie Murphy ("Meet Dave")

Nothing to really say here.

WORST DERIVATIVE IDEA: "The Day The Earth Blowed Up Real Good", "Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans", "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", "Speed Racer", "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"

Another tie. I can understand WHY the animated Star Wars movie was made, I just really dislike it and the idea of it. The other two are obvious, since those movies aren't even ideas; they're just one 90minute long spoof of commercials, tv shows, movies, and current events with no thought put behind them.

WORST DIRECTOR: Uwe Boll ("In the Name of the King"/"Postal"), Friedberg and Setzer ("Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans"), Tom Putnam ("The Hottie and the Nottie"), Marco Schnabel ("The Love Guru"), M. Night Shyamalan ("The Happening")

Just because they directed these movies I am picking them.

WORST "ORIGINAL" SCREENPLAY: "Disaster Movie"/"Meet the Spartans", "The Happening", "The Hottie and the Nottie", "In the Name of the King", "The Love Guru"

And once more, just because they fit the category best. If those two movies don't take all the categories they're in, I will be really, really surprised.

Or, it was probably complete shit. These movies ALL suck. And don't encourage Eddie Murphy, please. :(

In The Name Of The King deserves to avoid being nominated for anything, just because BLIND FUCKING GUARDIAN were on the soundtrack. Seriously, Carry The Blessed Home + Jason Statham cannot = Razzie.

It might've been the only good thing Uwe Boll ever did, but damnit, that's more good than Larry the Cable Guy ever has. :P

I'm not sure exactly which point you're referring to here... but if you're talking about Paris Hilton's performance in Repo!, then it was far from shit. There's absolutely nothing in that film that should be even considered for a "Razzie", and to be honest, I question whether or not the people who do these have actually seen the film.

"Huh, huh, it's Paris Hilton... she sucks...huh, huh..."

Seriously... fuck.

Can I see people not enjoying the film? Yeah. It's going to completely polarize audiences... but that comes down to personal taste over actual quality, and anyone who legitimately questions the quality of the performances in the film needs to take a serious look at whether or not they can separate personal taste from proper judgment.

I don't get the hate for Postal this time round, it was exactly the sort of film that you expected after playing the games: Casually racist, violence packed, utterly sexist, and the story made more sense than Indiana Jones <__<

Maybe it's because I didn't expect much of it, and it didn't TRY to be a big budget action movie that I can lean towards it being shite. If i got the same type of film from Spielberg I'd say he's lost it <_<

I've not seen a single movie on this list :S

Consider yourself very lucky?

I don't think Indiana Jones was that bad, there were some cheesy lines and the end was a bit 'wtf?' of course but it's not in the same league as Meet The Spartans. That was horrific and I was so glad when the copy I was watching broke half way through.

Nothing will ever top White Chicks for me though. Yurgh. Thankfully, I'm through with the days of watching movies my girlfriends wants to watch even if I don't.

No..obviously you've never seen In The Name Of The King. I like Jason statham and like all of his movies. That being said, ITNOTK was 2 hours of complete BOREDOM! The action scenes, that could've been good, were so poorly directed that you couldn't even follow what was happening. In The Name Of The King was, by all rights, one of the worst, most boring movies I've ever seen
