I reckon he might well be the second I mentioned. I feel like they wouldn't have made a point of Negan saying they get one free pass at Glenn's outburst in the season six finale if they weren't going to follow through and show what happens when they do.

I'd rather they just smashed Eugene's head in to be honest. I think it's Eugene anyway, the one who took the truck on his own when the others went on foot.
