Awesome Live Performances

So I'm sure this has been done before, but I still wanna open up a thread for people to post links to their favorite live musical performances. In fact, it doesn't have to be your favorite, you might post it just because it's so fucking terrible that it's worth seeing. Anyways, here's some of my favorites:

MGMT at Reading. The crowd singing along to the hook at the start is great:

The Vines, with the lead singer (who has asphergers) having a complete fucking meltdown on live TV. My favorite part is the drummer throwing his sticks away in frustration at the end.

I'll post more later but it won't let me post any more media files here.

I think this is one of those times most people know what this link will be before I even post it, but fuck it:

Blind Guardian ft. Several Thousand People - The Bard's Song

Another one of my favourites is when Hammerfall cover a Judas Priest song live and everyone's playing a different instrument to usual, featuring Oscar Dronjak on vocals. Which was epic at the time but I frankly never want to hear again. Luckily I can't seem to find it on Youtube any longer ¬_¬

Although it was a live performance of Better Man where the crowd took over the majority of the song that made me 'get' Pearl Jam, it was this video that put them forever into one of my favourite bands category. Given To Fly is my favourite PJ song and the whole video is just magic.

Everyone from Pantera seemed to branch out after it's demise, but they all pale in comparison to Phil's band, Down. They've got a ton of great songs, but I never liked Bury Me In Smoke... until this. For some reason it connected with me in this video.

Great band, great cover, great guest appereance by Trent Reznor  Oh and crazy dance moves by Boots Riley

Nine Inch Nails + Saul Williams - Survivalism

It's a shame I haven't seen NIN live and now they stopped touring :/

Like Reil, I think most people can guess the type of stuff I am gonna put here.

So, yeah, here's Dream Theater playing Octavarium:

I win this thread now. This was so awesome. And it will perhaps never happen again. Also, later at the show, Chuck Billy from Testament acted as voice for The Planet Smasher. This was in fact the most awesome thing I have ever experienced.

SHINEDOWN COVERS SIMPLE MAN VIDEO

Awesome cover, awesome performance. Love it.

God yes. I fucking love this. Just how emotional Brent is at the start, and then when the drums/guitars kick in I literally mark out. Brent's speech at the start has also had me close to tears too at certain points.

MORE PEARL JAM!

From Pink Pop '92. These following on from one another. I love how in the first one all you need is an awesome singer and drumbeat, and then the second has 60,000 people losing their shit at the same time. I wish this was still around these days.

Fuck it, just go look for the whole of the Pink Pop '92 performance. They were on fire. I remember Black was fantastic, and during Porch Vedder did that dive off the camera boom.

Pearl Jam covering No Woman No Cry before entering Betterman.

Didn't allow me to post this one as part of the same message. That'll do.... for now.

Man, I wish I was Vedder. :(

I wish I could link to a full video of Tenacious D at Bonnaroo, because that set was probably one of the best sets I've seen so far in my life. Jack Black and Kyle Gas are masters of audience control and stage presence, no doubt. Oh yeah, when I saw the GZA in March, "Liquid Swords" was incredible live. Dude's flow and delivery is just incredible, seriously. Bootleg/fan recorded videos don't do either of these justice.

Don't get me started on awesome NIN live videos. I could put up a dozen, no lies.
