Basically it adds industrial level stuff and alchemy to the game. You can use solar power and nuclear power instead of coal and you can make machines that mine quarry's for you and use alchemy to change things into other things and loads of freakin' awesome stuff. It's wonderful, but very confusing at first.

And I don't know. We'll have to figure out a time when we can. Though the only time I'm really free for a while yet is tomorrow at about 3pm GMT - 6pm.

I share these sentiments. Although, the launcher is handy for adding in extra memory to your minecraft.

I just used load different modded bin folders in place of their mods and have easy access to what I'd rather have.

But that's going back months when I would use mobs. I always go back to vanilla.

I haven't started a single player save on xBox yet, but playing multiplayer with my son is an experience in itself as his hands are too small for the controls

I definitely understand the ease of the launcher and whatnot, and I guess I'm moreso angry with their adamant fan base rather than the idea behind it. I just don't like that they USUALLY add in a mod that they don't have permission for, and don't bother to ask until they've released a few versions of it. It's double edged, because while the mod maker gets more recognition and more people get to play their mod, at the same time they don't get the credit and revenue from people using Tekkit.
