Only Canadian guy I know of is John Davison who played for South Australia for a while as a decent all-rounder, but with the less professional teams in any sport it generally does tend to happen that guys from overseas either move there to play for an international team, or are just the best guys available.

This has been a lot closer then it looked like it would be earlier in the England innings. An inside edge on to the stumps would have been huge there. England needs 33 off of 24

England won by 6 wickets scoring 296-4 after 48.4 overs. Alot closer than it should have been, but an important win nevertheless.

Yeah, we were dire in the field - dropped catches, overthrows, mis-fields and not knowing the fielding restrictions. Can't fault the batting - the pressure was on to score around 5.50 an over, and they delivered. The India game could decide the group on Sunday, so it's a biggie.

Might be good for England to start off with a test before their game against India. Battings in good nick, and the bowlers now know they need to up their game. Could be a very helpful wake up call.
