The Jon Snow sequel series has been shelved because they couldn't come up with a good story. I think we all could have predicted that would happen.

I honestly assumed they were doing it BECAUSE they had a story planned. Fucking hell.

Kit Harington himself apparently pitched it, so I think it was mostly because he fancied another highly paid gig. I can't blame him for trying, even if I had no interest in the idea.

In other news, the first Dunk and Egg characters have been cast.

Dunk is played by Peter Claffey and Egg is played by Dexter Sol Ansell. I don't know anything about them, but they at least fulfil the criteria of being an adult and a child respectively.
