2011 College Football Season

Recommended Posts

I think that's the Division II championship game because I was reading earlier about Wayne State's magical Cinderella run.

Oh and it's Pittsburg State, they're from Kansas and one of the few DII progeams I've heard of because the Gorillas are a juggernaut.

It was the Division II Title game, They showed Highlights during the Ohio/Utah State game. They both sounded like D1-AA programs and I didn't expect any lower division from Local TV.

But Pittsburg State from Kansas? Definitely sounds like a D2 program, Like the University of California in Pennsylvania.

Or Indiana (Pa.)...I'm never quite sure who stole what name from who.

Love watching the lower divisions because they actually play the freaking games out ... and I have the connection of having played lower division football.

I just hope we don't get UWW/MU V=8.0 next year in D3.

Hope SHSU takes the FCS crown as well ... Texas team and all.

Really looking forward to the next two days...My good mate from work is a TCU fan and with me as a Boise fan, watching the games on GameCast leading into the Xmas break are going to be quite enjoyable :D

I made an appearance on his college-football-betting.org podcast this week, and we cover the BCS bowl games if anyone's interested in grabbing the mp3 download from this link: http://college-football-betting.org/2011/12/21/cfb-podcast-bcs-bowl/

Double post, sorry...but:

I know there's still a half-plus of football to be played, but this is an almighty shitkicking. Before the FG drive, Boise had almost generated more yards from penalties alone than Arizona has generated

...And now they're letting pretty much anyone who feels like it throw the ball. What's next, Kellen Moore at Linebacker?

Boise laughed their ass off that entire game, as did I.

Oh, and Crist isn't alone at Kansas .... Jake Heaps is also going. Weis already has a QB for the next two years and he hasn't recruited a single person at Kansas yet. I honestly think he's going to do just fine there.

Barkley coming back to USC is fucking huge, and the right move. He's going to make Kiffin look really good/smart next year.

Chow takes over at Hawaii too. Should work out fine.

Boise and AzSt had no business playing in that bowl game, for two completely different reasons. One deserved to be in a much better bowl, the other should of got nothing.

But Boise State couldn't compete in a REAL conference. . . oh they just curbstomped a Pac-12 team? Well, they wouldn't win a GAME in the SEC, so that's why they got their bowl game before Christmas! Yeah, that's the ticket.

I'm not sure if they could have beat LSU or Alabama, but Boise could have beaten at least half of the SEC.

And Boise recently beat Oregon, Oregon State, TCU - and some other major conference teams and BCS contenders.

Don't let something as small as facts get in the way of the argument sir. Boise State is a team that barely deserves to be ranked in the top 25. The worst team in the SEC deserves more recognition than those bums.
