WKU finished 7-5 after a 0-12 season and a 2-10 season , 2nd in their conference and two teams that finsihed under them are going to bowl games. They were supposed to go to the UCLA bowl game but got booted in favor of UCLA vs Illlinois. How does a team with a losing record go to a bowl game over a team with a winning record and Nick Saban is a total dick btw.

Because it's a completely fucked up and unfair system that ignores small schools unless they're so good that they can't ignore them, and even then, they'll do their damnedest not to let them in.

What a weird ass situation. ASU look like taker-backers and June Jones has to go back to coaching the players he was prepared to leave.

Last I heard, ASU was quoted as saying the process was "taking too long" whatever the shit that means. It's especially stupid considering that they had all agreed to terms and pretty much just needed to sign the paperwork. It's going to take even longer for them to find another head coach.

Something must have sent up a red flag, because "it's taking too long" may be one of the most idiotic reasons to withdraw an already accepted position ever.

I've been a fan of Mora since his days as the 49ers defensive coordinator and I do think it would be a pretty good hire but if it means he will stop calling games for Fox NFL games, I support it 100%

Mora could do good work at UCLA. He's a great defensive mind, it'll be interesting to see how he recruits.

Glad that RGIII won it. Feel like basically only 2.5 of the finalists deserved it. Luck was great - but he's beaten in basically every metric by both Moore AND Keenum, not to mention RGIII. It's a joke that Richardson is in there over LaMichael James...and Mathieu wasn't even the best CB on that team, let alone to be put up for the Heisman?!
