I'd feel more comfortable just removing him from the data, and adding him to staff as a trainer. Since the injury, Goldust had been working backstage as a Road Agent, but has since been promoted to Finlay's old job (working with the Divas). With Goldust announcing he's taking a "break" seems like more of a way for him to say that he's actively retiring for as long as he stays employed in the WWE.

I know he was being a road agent due to injury at one point. IMO I'd keep him in the game as a worker.
