Saw Rocket League for 9 euros on CDKeys.com and I couldn't help myself to finally cave into the hype and give it a whirl... And holy crap this game is addicting and surprisingly intuitive too.

Hoooly poo.  If you want a game you can sink some hours into, go for it.  EXTREMELY deep game with a surprisingly intuitive interface.  Sorry, house, but Daddy's building research ships and trying to recruit better governors for mah planets.

So the newest Overwatch character is Ana, Pharah's mother. She's a long-range healer who heals with a sniper rifle (for real). 

No release date on her yet.

Yes, it's great and you haven't really got in too late. There are so many players that it isn't like there won't be people at your skill level. Plus it's pretty well sorted as far as matchmaking, so unless you logged in a 2AM you aren't going to be put against people with 30+ hours in the game (unless they're truly terrible anyway).

I shouldn't have really called it skill level, it's more getting the right mindset. There are plenty of people with 80 hours in the game who still don't understand that is isn't a death-match game. There are objectives and it's a matter of slowly working out which heroes work best for achieving those objectives against the heroes your opponent is using. You don't need to be great with every hero, but it isn't a game where you have someone that you use 99.9% of the time (unless you want to specialise in support/Reinhardt). So you need to learn lots of characters and the maps (even if you're never using a flanker you need to know where they're coming from to kill you). 

I'm pretty shit at the game, but I'd like to think that if I bought it on PC (have it on PS4) I'd steamroll people who have just picked it up.

It all sounds a bit too much like TF2 and I wasn't big on that game.

Anyone brave enough to download the uPlay client, they are offering if you can complete the trials of the Blood Dragon demo with 15 faults or less before the end of this month, you can get the whole game for free. id do some research first however as so many are reporting they didnt get it for free and I did it myself and never unlocked, still prompted me to purchase it.

Build walls, then make castles and fill them with archers. Enemies never make enough siege weapons, they just walk armies into your kill zone and wait for you to respond.

It's kind of ridiculous right? I remember looking at some footage of it when it was first in early access and thinking "Nah, this'll never be as feature filled as Terraria". Bought it yesterday and ...holy shit they've done work to that thing. Mighty fine game now.
