Thought I'd double up Left and Right backs in this one.

I think the obvious answers are Gary Neville and Ashley Cole and that's who I'm going to vote, both very good players for a long time. I wasn't a massive Gary Neville fan and I think others have been better for periods but nobody had the consistency of Neville to perform at a high standard for 10+ years, although we have a very good crop of young right-backs appearing who could one day replace him, right now I think Neville gets the shout from me.

Represents the old and new of Arsenal as I was starting to get regular EPL matches on TV. I was impressed with Dixon's ability up until the (bitter) end for him (getting torched by Owen in the FA Cup Final).

Much as I heart Super Dan Petrescu I find it difficult to pick him at right-back...he spent more time in right-midfield, as I recall.

Gary Neville at right back was any easy choice for me, Dennis Irwin was my other choice in a sort of 'he was better than the rest but I don't think this is a particularly strong field' moment.

Although like stoker, and I'm sure many others, I did love Dan Pet Rescue. And still do, in fact.

Neville and Cole. Would've liked to have picked Dixon, but I really didn't see him play all that much, and for a long time, Neville was a quality right back. Cole was another easy pick, he's just been brilliant for a very long time.

[The Future]

I don't like Ashley Cole but can't deny his talent he's a world class left back and although there was a period where Evra was better, Cole is more consistent.

Has to be Gary Neville at right-back for me, his crossing was very under-rated.
