Yeah, it's one of the reasons I like Oan's reviews. He always gets right the atmosphere of the movie he's talking about in a way that truly proves it's more than just riffing on a movie that can make one of these web reviews interesting.

I was in the same boat till a few months ago when a friend let me borrow it. To be honest, I was underwhelmed, but I can imagine it being great in its day.

I was thinking about this in comparison with Lupa's 100th episode in which she does something similar... But doesn't quite pull it off. Not because she doesn't have the chops for it, but that she did it in a 26 minute episode. That is longer than her standard, or than most online videos should be (says he with the 32 minute video on Man on the Moon) the emotional arc that Kyle Kallgren placed into that review was just paced SO WELL.

I was about ready to well up during part two. Until he started getting all the phone calls from fans thanks to Hagan putting his number on twitter. He played it perfectly from his voice overs, to leaving his set, to how he started changing his reaction to the cameos.

Although this was the first time I had ever seen Phil Buni doing his actual thing and not being an ass on twitter. I assume he's funny.

Yes, that's a great one. Barry is a really good editor for them. End of Spice World and Rugrats In Paris are even better.

Enjoyed the first Fred video. This Mike Jeavons is very good at being confused.

Also, I didn't know people still did "first" posts, but apparently they do!

EDIT: Both Fred videos are good. Jeavons sounds pretty depressed and annoyed, which is the perfect temperament for these movies. Only reason I hope they made more Fred movies is so Jeavons can review more of them.

Seems Diamanda Hagan has quit the other site she was on Reviewatopia after being on some live cast they did at MAGFest in which after she left The Cinema Snob's girlfriend (the snob is not at the con) took off her top.
