TEW2013: Real World Update April 2013 - Converted From the TEW05 Mods made by cpt.charisma and TheWho87

Thanks to Eddie G, ScottHallLeg-end, No1Thuganomic, Geno90, iDOL and Hijo del Cloudy and also to people who post in the thread for helping out:

This is the pre wrestlemania edition: i will releasing a 2nd april update the week after wrestlemania in this thread: all the pic packs are new

Here is the update: http://www.mediafire.com/?cla06na2c13ehe0

People Pack: http://www.mediafire.com/?haocvp9v3a76rll

PicPack (Logo/TV/Events/Etc):http://www.mediafire.com/?yciidcu37rk7xrl

The update will also appear here: http://www.ewwarehouse.info/

A few WWE notes: some overness adjusted, face/heel turns depending on the feuds (e.g. Big Show is a face for now as he is feuding with The Shield), starting storylines added. Also if someone could answer this for me, do WWE still use the brand split? i'm tempted to remove it as its pretty much the same people that appear on both brands, and its been happening for quite awhile now

Tips for people who complain about loading speed: there are 69 companies in the mod so if you want to speed the game up you can just go into the editor and delete a few of the smaller companies, this should help reduce loading times: if you choose not to do this, after about 3 weeks, loading time improves as the AI is finished with all the hiring/firing etc.

any problems feel free to post in the thread or send me a message

How to install a mod

Job well done again! There's just a couple of minor things to change in CZW.

CZW:

Events:

- Tournament of Death's importance to Above Average and maybe Cage of Death's a step above that.

Titles:

- Make Jr. Heavyweight championship a Midcard title

Roster:

- Change Larry Legend to Face

**

I'd be OK with removing the brand split. WWE hasn't had a real brand split in ages so I don't see the point in WWE having one in the game.

The brand split is all but dead. The only way it really matters at all at this stage is that RAW still seems to be the main home to the WWE Championship while Smackdown has the World Championship. But the World Title feud spills over to RAW all the time. Every other aspect from exclusive rosters to midcard titles is completely and totally dead. Smackdown is much more of a "B Show" at this stage and maybe it might be worth seeing what happens if you set it as that in the mod. Maybe that would reduce it too much in importance and get it cancelled but it could possibly lead to the game treating it the same way WWE does, as a place to shove its midcarders who don't fit on RAW.

Also I haven't gotten a chance to load up this update but I'm sure its great as always. Some news I assume broke too late for you to add.

Charlie Haas is gone from ROH. He was fired/quit after a backstage fight with Grizzly Redwood and cut an emotional (and supposedly intoxicated) shoot on Kevin Kelly, Delirious, and Nigel McGuinness. He may or may not also be retired since he said he was going home to his family for good. I'd say set him to "On Hiatus until he confirms his retirement with a level head but remove him from ROH and maybe do all the necessary relationship changes/additions.

They do, but it basically stands in name only. There are still RAW-branded workers and SmackDown-branded workers, but everyone can appear on any show anyway so it's not a big deal. I'd keep the split in anyway, mainly because of the focuses; RAW is very much more mainstream-focused than SmackDown is.

I agree with this. I think it's better to keep the split but then not restrict the shows (both RAW and SD!) to specific brands.

Anyway, just wanted to chime in and say you're doing great work (although I don't have TEW 2013), I know a lot of people tend to go for real world mods (myself included) so it's awesome that you do this every month, while also taking in (constructive) criticism, as well.

They usually follow the brand split at house shows, as most of the time they still do raw/sd branded shows

hey , I was hoping someone could help me out here, I download the file and whenever I unzip it the data ends up as a .mdb file requires Microsoft access to open and I cant because it says it needs a password.

can someone please help me out here?

Go into the editor in the main screen of the game, create the database, then close the game out. Open the file folder, in the Data your database should be there, move the file you're asking about into here and replace the other file, that's your database for the game, it's how it's supposed to look

Could you look into adding Traditional Championship Wrestling?

http://www.tcwwrestling.com/

Do you know much on the promotions/follow them much?

If you have TEW10 take a look at my because I have included the TCW roster to whats listed on their site and the plan is that cpt.charisma could import them from my update but I'd say most workers are rather generic skills wise.

I would say WWE still uses the split solely for smackdown reasons

CM Punk and John Cena don't appear on SD for instance, but Sheamus and Orton appear on Raw.

Raw has no split but smackdown does (albeit not as strict as a few years ago)

I know a little. I have been to a few shows as they are local to me. They have some guys that are pretty entertaining and some that are bland. Off the top of my head I can't think of any that are standout stars. They post shows on YouTube.

I would say they are worthy of inclusion, they have a TV deal in their area as well as online episodes on YouTube. And from what little I've seen they bring in a couple of "big" names.

As I said in my post if you want them in now you could import most of their roster from my latest TEW10 preview as TCW is finished.

I don't think there's been any official confirmation but RVD has been talking about "life after TNA" in recent interviews like he's done with them. Its been almost two months since he's done anything there so I'd guess they just parted amicably so I'd remove him myself. He may return but the story right now seems to be that his contract expired so he's a free agent.
