Looks like we'll be getting the Xbone next month as mine and Snowball's joint birthday present. Not sure how interested I am in Destiny, it looks amazing but I've never been a Halo fan and so I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy it. Is there local co-op/multiplayer? I'd be hella more hyped for it if me and Snowball can play together.

We'll definitely be picking up WWE and Sunset Overdrive on release date and hopefully pick up Wolfenstein and Ground Zeroes if they're on the cheap.

I'm pumped. So damn pumped.

Destiny is probably not something you'll want if you're looking for a couch co-op game. Doesn't include split screen :(

Apsham is right though, if you're wanting a split-screen game you should look at Diablo 3, it's a blast!

I got it, works fine. If you have physical copies of a game installed it lets you play them without the disc or you can download any game in the vault. Just downloading NFS now, it's well worth £20 for just NFS, Battlefield 4 and Peggle 2.

If you have the discs you can trade them in and cover the cost of it straight away, so it's even better as you're pretty much getting NFS, Peggle and Madden for free. Also you get 6 hours playtime of new releases before they come out (FIFA15/ NHL15/ Dragon Age etc.)

The new beta update released yesterday and is awesome! DLNA support is nice and so is the new friends tab on the homescreen but the snap menu fucking rocks. Being able to access friends and messages in snap is something that needed doing a long time ago.

Pretty nice if you were just after the console itself for whatever reason but I think there's better value out there if you happen to after some of the bigger games like FIFA or Destiny, seen them at £320. Or that one at GAME which I think has Destiny and Halo MC Collection for £350 or 380 if you want CoD Ghosts too.

So I'm making the jump on the 29th September. Planning on picking up Ground Zeroes and Forza Horizon 2 for definite and maybe Metro Redux and Wolfenstein if ithey're on the cheap.

Is anyone actually playing Destiny on the Xbone? Because I'm intrigued by it but don't really know anyone who's got it on the xbox. Also would there be anything stopping me doing the thing where I buy it on the 360, upgrade to the One for free and then trading in the 360 copy?

Pretty sure it's only with digital copies of it on 360 that you get the One version too, primarily to eliminate the kind of scenario you're imagining. Like the kind of thing that has lead to probably thousands of copies of Mario Kart 8 being traded in almost immediately. :shifty:
