The crazy thing is that Yahoo's scheduling very much mirrors how MLB's playoff season goes. You can be the absolute worst going into the playoffs, then completely wreck shop once you get there thanks to one or two people.

I did that in a fantasy basketball league a few months ago.

I snuck into the playoffs in the last week as a 6 seed, then just bulldozed my way into the finals. Won the championship against the heavily favored opponent by one steal.
