Yeh you've discovered what happened to me. The pain of getting stuff you can't use. If you have enough strange coins every friday-sunday a guy appears in the tower selling exotic armour and weapons. Usually one armour per class.

Do I need to play the online-only modes to level up past 20? I've no real interest in grabbing PS Plus right now, so if I can't level past 20 without it, I may just shelve the game until the expansion comes out or I get plus.

In theory you don't. You level past 20 by getting better gear with "Light" levels, which is almost your new exp. You can get that gear replaying the regular missions, but it's so inconsistent that you're always going to be better off doing dailies, strikes and crucible.

Does anyone play this on 360? I just reached level 20 and the PvP (Clash at least) has been fun, which is good after a disappointing story.

I had it, played it to death and traded it in because I wasn't prepared to pay potentially hundreds of pounds for the DLC, a lot of which should have been on the disc at launch.

For all that's wrong with it though, the gunplay and PvP was tight enough to tempt me back in if a cheap enough bundle turned up.

That's pretty much exactly why I haven't played the game despite having it since Christmas. Not one of my friends got it after we all agreed it would be a fun multi-player game for us to do together.

Nope. I honestly don't care for doing PvP stuff, I've always gravitated to PvE modes which luckily Destiny has strikes and raids to hold me over.

Destiny is sounding like an annual title for me, as the rumor making the rounds is that if you wait til September, the next expansion will also see the release of an updated disc that includes all three expansions and the base game at $70 or $80.

If that's Bungie's plan, is to release a new disc every September with updated content, then I will pick up the game once a year, play it to death and then trade it in for half-value and wait until the next September.

Not a bad call. After finding it on sale, I got the game brand new and both expansions for $55. Not great, but considering it could have been nearly double, I can't yell.

Is anybody still playing this? I have it from December 2014 and have still yet to start it. I was waiting for a buddy of mine to get it, but he still hasn't.

I don't suppose anyone still plays this on Ps4 do they? I'm mainly running a 335 warlock but I also have a 334 titan that I haven't perked up the subclasses. I've got a couple of friends I play with and a few people I've met through the game but I'd love to do some strikes or raids with EWBers. Or I wouldn't mind running through story mode with someone if they need to do it.
