I'm not asking this because I have a specific answer in mind. I know what the correct answer is in the official Monopoly rules. I just want your answer.

Money? On free parking? What a stupid idea.

No, mortgaged properties, that's what you put on free parking.

Pretty much everything that isn't property-related.

Used to do this. Any money from the tax spaces, chance or community chest go in the middle except for street repairs.

Now we do nothing because its faster and better.

We need to do some EWB Monopoly again sometime. I dunno how the Pogo version of it is nowadays, used to frustrate us cutting to ads every 5 seconds. I'd suggest maybe there's some other places to play but dunno how much it'd be licensed out to different sites or whatever the fuck.

I still have a (mostly finished) EWB Monopoly board that I made sitting in my folder. No Chance or Community Chest yet, though.

No Chance

THAT'S WHAT YOU GOT

"You were told to stay home to shit, miss a go."

"You pocket $10 from each player under the premise that it was just a smart business move."

We start with 500, and basically any non-property-related payments get added. When someone picks it up, 500 gets added back to the pot.

As a kid we put all fines from Chance and Community Chest on Free Parking (as well as the £50 for leaving jail).

However (and I haven't played Monopoly in pretty much a decade to be fair), nothing should be put on Free Parking because it makes the game longer, baggier and creates a false economy with too much money floating around. Streets should also always be auctioned. Deals for not being able to pay rent are much tighter than you'll remember as a kid too. Played with the "proper" rules, games last 45 minutes to an hour and are less likely to end in fights, arguments and whinging. The vast majority of house rules are there to make the game longer.

Best option is, of course, not to bother with Monopoly. It's an old game, flawed and has been surpassed many times over.
