Sergio pulled a Kevin Costner in Tin Cup today. He shot a THIRTEEN on the 15th hole, because he kept hitting it into the water hazard. He finished +9, effectively killing any chance he had of repeating.

That ankle thing is gross. Fair play to him not only for popping it back in, but for now being in contention a day later!

My newest rooting interest is Haotong Li. He looked good today and when they interviewed him, he was just a humble soft-spoken kid. Go Haotong!

Spieth went from -6 yesterday to shooting a +4 today. Yikes. I didn’t get to see his round, but ten stroke difference in one day is intense and worrisome.

Rory with an eagle on 8 to shoot him into a tie for first. He, Rahm, and Rickie have all had great days.

I sure would like a final round meltdown from the overnight leader tomorrow. I can't stand Reed, plus I'd love McIlroy to get the slam.

I'm really pulling for Rickie. High time he gets the Major Monkey off his back.

Mainly because he's a dick. I still have memories of his behavior at the last two Ryder Cups, but his behaviour in most occasions is just boorish.

I love that the Augusta overseers threatened eviction for any idiots shouting dumb shit like "It's in the hole!" 

That stuff isn't funny and it hasn't been funny since Caddyshack. I wish all courses would take a similar stance. It's so nice watching a tournament without morons thinking they're funny with that dumb stuff.

Bubba Watson just somehow ended up in the bunker from a putt on the green. The bunker was to the right. 

Obvioisly he was going for the break, but it really didn’t work.

Rory just teed off and somehow hit it sideways.  

 

And Patrick Reed is loved up right up against a tree after his first shot.

I like it when I see pro golfers end up in the middle of nowhere.

Makes me feel a bit better about my own golf game...

I'd settle for getting lost in the woods every so often if it meant I could drive like Rory.

That’s a pretty good recovery from Rory.

Yeah, he really pulled that together to most likely save par. That could have been a lot worse. And Reed is still likely a two-putt away.

First two holes and Reed does not look like the same guy from the first three days, that's fo' sho'. 

And what a second shot by Rory! Holy crap.

That was an outrageous shot by McIlroy.

Reed misses birdie. 

Rory misses an absolute sitter.
