So I've just got this, and it plays fine normally. But if I plug my laptop in to charge, I get incredible amounts of lag during matches, making it unplayable. Anyone got any idea why that might be the case?

Power settings? Like when the laptop is plugged in other programs become active and eat up your processor and/or RAM

Messed around with the power settings with no joy, and nothing else seems to become active when plugged in, I don't get it.

Yeah

I was reading something about processor options on Windows 10 sometimes taking up background resources. I'm using a shite laptop at the mo and have every FM setting on low or none.

Problem for me is that it isn't just the match engine that's slow, it's the whole game. And I'm playing using a fairly small database.

Are you playing it on an abacus?

I don't have an issue with the game on Windows 10 when plugged in.

Have you tried the SI forums?
