It was so unfunny that it kind of was funny in a "will this fucking end" kind of way, it was like an episode long version of the Family Guy gag of not knowing when to stop a joke and move on with the story.

I didn't think it was funny at all - possibly the worst South Park episode I have ever seen.

Indiana Jones? I haven't seen the new film and am not interested in the franchise at all.

Cartman VS The Chinese? This had scope to be interesting, but never progressed into anything. I'd like to say it was due to time constraints, and fitting 2 story arcs into 20 minutes - but it simply didn't have any substance. It felt like I have seen this before (for example: the 24 parody show) and done A LOT better.

Major thumbs down.

I liked this episode. I don't think it was the best, but it wasn't the worst. It was way better than the Britney Spears episode earlier in the season.

South Park in recent years always has two bad/dumb episodes a year.

I didn't really like it all that well. It had a couple of funny parts. It wasn't horrible, but far from good. Not a good episode to start off the season.

I didn't see Indy so this didn't really mean much to me, though I doubt it would have even if I had. I did wonder where they were going with the rape thing and it certainly fitted with South Park'ss style but...just fuck it.

I really hope things pick up after this, though if all they can up with in like 6 months is this and Cartman going 'hohoho me chinese' then things don't look good.

However, on the plus side, I finally watched episode 7 from this season(Super Fun Time) and enjoyed it.

That was the WORST episode of South Park since "Jackoffasaurus". Wow, what a terrible attempt at humor. What made it even worse was watching it with someone who had experienced sexual violence in their past and feeling the awkwardness in the air. Both stories were boring, especially the Indiana one. Plus, didn't they already attack the issue of digitally remastered and over-extended movie series? Ugh.

That was indeed a horrible episode, in a lot of South Park episodes you get the "oh no I know what's coming" sort of groan but it's evened out near the end with a great punchline. This just ended up being shit.

Yes it follows the conventions of the regular South Park episodes where you get the "I learnt something today..." bit but... it just didn't click as good.

Plus it was flat out racism: not like that episode where Cartman injects himself with apple juice to gas out the islami people, but more "I want to kill each and every one of you" sort of thing. It just seemed uncomfortable when the other plot was also hugely distasteful.

Meh I don't know why I'm commenting on why this is so bad when I've not commented on any other episodes this season which were good to brilliant, unless it's just the HUGE dip in quality or something.

I think we need to go back and acknowledge what good came from this season so that we don't all decide to just stop all together.
