Leicester City are set to sign long-term midfield target Nampalys Mendy from Nice, reports the Leicester Mercury. Claudio Ranieri's side have been locked in negotiations with Nice over the fee for the 23-year-old and the issue appears to have been resolved with the Premier League champions set to pay £9.5million to get their man. Ranieri is no stranger to Mendy having managed the player during his time as Monaco boss.

Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Portugal left-back Raphaël Guerreiro from Lorient. The 22-year-old has signed a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2020. Arsenal were previously reported to be interested.

Be quicker to note what players Arsenal aren't interested in.

Nothing wrong with a bit of motivating like that. And if he doesn't do well this season there's nothing to prevent Jose/United from going "welp, you failed" and nixing it.

Hmm... maybe the secret to their success is that in a parallel universe where Fergie didn't retire that Leicester squad plays for Man Utd. Ignore the fact Fergie sold some of them because that doesn't fit my timeline...

I'd be more impressed if they signed Pogba and Pique though.
