  1. hmmm. I've been looking for a new favourite English team ever since Sunderland turned boring. >_>
  2. METALMAN

    .

Oh dear. I am going to lose like half of my friends to this. :/
  3. hahaha last night the barman spent the whole time bitching to us about how shit the new Harry Potter film was. legend Although what I have noticed about the Harry Potter film is that it is only people that have read the book that tend to like it. Seems that in order to enjoy the film you must already know the story. >_>
  4. Kilmarnock v Partick Thistle tomorrow night! wooooooooooo!
  5. I am still unsure whether I want Man City to do well next season. It would be good if they shook up the top four a bit, but on the other hand it would be hilarious to see their massively expensive team getting hammered at home by Burnley,
  6. On that note - I've wondered about this before - is it possible just to block individual people in a game rather than everyone as a whole?
  7. I couldn't see a judge giving him it in either circumstance.
  8. I'd definitely agree with Dragsy's point of view. I absolutely loved SvR 2006 for its gameplay and I played it countless times with my friends back then. I put a lot of time into that game as well - I made CAWs for all the people I liked that weren't on the game and I unlocked all the belts and arenas and that sort of thing. However, I don't think I've played any of the subsequent games for more than ten hours combined. It could just be the same old gameplay, or I might just have grown out of it. :/
  9. The balance of power is shifting to China and North Korea. You'll see. >_> Oh and I wouldn't jettison Eto'o for Ibrahimovic myself either but Zlatan's still a fantastic player. I think he could do well at Barca.
  10. It was a UFC triple threat match.
  11. I'd say just Spain. Italy are still stagnating. Bear in mind that Eto'o is only at Inter as a makeweight.
  12. I still love the new Idlewild album. I really do think it is the best thing they've ever done. Even better than the Remote Part which was already one of my favourite albums ever. I'd say that The Remote Part has better individual tunes (i.e. Tell Me Ten Words, Out Of Routine, Live In A Hiding Place.), as did 100 Broken Windows (Actually It's Darkess) and Hope Is Important (When I Argue I See Shapes). However those three albums do suffer from being weighed down by a bit of bumph, particularly the latter two. Post Electric Blues, however, doesn't feature a single bad song, and more than its fair share of very good songs.
  13. Which one, "Words & Music" from last year? It's basically just pretty poor reworkings of old songs...that don't need reworkings...and a couple of new tunes...doesn't really feel like a new album. oh. yeah i just realised it was released last November. Why the fuck would it be reviewed in a magazine from this month then? silly people.
  14. The idea of Sony giving him a refund is preposterous. Why should he get compensation for something brought about by his own misconduct?
  15. Fair enough. I still think High Heat MLB 2003 is the only baseball game I will ever need. ^_^
  16. If I was Ian Curtis I would be unsure as to whether that was a compliment or not. If I was Ian Curtis I would also be dead.

  17. Ian Curtis probably looks healthier as a corpse than he did when he was alive.

    FIFA 10

    Yeah but I'm lazy though
  19. Would that not be possible in the classic game mode anyway though?

    FIFA 10

Oh that's fantastic. I can never be bothered to change my team every week on FIFA because it's so fiddly doing all that with a control pad. Just got to hope the assistant manager isn't a total thicko now.
  21. Was looking at baseball mogul on wikipedia and I saw this - What does that mean?
  22. I don't think it is getting more dangerous its just the isuue of safety safety seems to have stagnated as it tends to every few years, I think that F1 is very safe compared to 20 years ago and even safer than 10 years ago, but to keep it in the format of open wheel open cockpit single seater racing there is, unfortunately an element of risk to the racing, which makes it more exciting to an extent but the Massa incident is horrendous. Oh yeah most definitely. There's obviously an element of risk involved but that's nothing compared to a few years ago when deaths during races were relatively commonplace. I mean it's been some time since there has been a Jim Clark or an Ayrton Senna thankfully. In fact Senna was the last if I remember correctly, although Ralf Schumacher had a fairly close shave a couple of years ago I think.
