I was wondering how long it'd take Clarkson to do a joke about the whole Brand/Ross/Sachs thing; 11 minutes.

Yeah fighting is hard enough without having to pull out a weapon when they've aleady shoved theirs down your throat.

Is there anyway to stop people from trying to kill you? I was wondering around near the powerstation and saw a guy there and all of a sudden he just started shooting at me. He had a name, not just the generic "Raider" or something so I assume he'd have been someone usefull, but I had to kill him. Spoiler: Click here to viewI have a house! Yay! I disarmed the bomb in Megaton and the son of the sheriff (who incidentally I got killed by Mr. Burke) said his dad would've wanted me to have the abandoned house. Yay. Oh, and there's a robot inside who for some reason reminds me of John Cleese in the Bond films.

I downloaded the demo this morning and gave it a bit of a run-through but I just can't get into it. Might the fact I'm not in a footbally mood today, but I don't really want to play it. It looks the same, the 3D engine is nice as are the press conferences, but those two things will get old fast I think. I'll get it when it comes out but I don't think I'll touch the demo much.

I love Alter Bridge but they sound nothing like Soundgarden or Pearl Jam. Personally the only thing I think the three bands have in common is brilliant singers with great ranges.

I disliked it upon hearing it on the radio for the first time, but then decided to give it another try and then fell in love with it. I think it's a brilliant song and (although I haven't seen the film) it's a perfect Bond song.

Also, if you go in the right door to enter, there is a decent gun on the side, which was better than what I had at the time, IIRC. Spoiler: Click here to viewIt's a quest yeah. When you're in Megaton if you go to one of th stores (can't remember which one, up the stairs on the right I think) and speak to Moira(?) and she'll ask you to check it out and find some medicine and/or food and bring it back to her because she's putting together some book. I said yes because I'm such a nice guy but I keep getting raped in there.

I'm loving this game, enjoying it a lot more than Oblivion but... Spoiler: Click here to view...the sodding Super-Duper Mart quest is just a bitch. I killed the two Raiders outside the place and can kill the first Raider inside, but then it all goes to shit. I might as well have walked in there with a big sign saying "Please shoot me thank you". That is just...hard. I think I'll leave that until I learn how to shoot. Or get a decent gun. And some decent armour.

This whole thing has taught me one thing; Manuel is actually English.

I am going to go into a corner and die. That was ridiculous. We should've killed that game. A one-in-a-million goal from Bentley, a mis-judgment from Almunia, a slip from Clichy and naivety from our players are all four goals. Ri-sodding-diculous. Credit where credit is due, Tottenham never gave up. It was just one of those days where we played brilliantly for 99% of the time and strange things happen.

I think with the Secret Invasion the only place anything is happening is in Mighty/New Avengers. Secret Invasion itself seems like a great big battle every issue and then the last page is some big reveal. So far all seven seem to be doing this.

So what is everyone regularly reading? I decided to cancel a lot of the stuff I have on reserve because it's costing me way to much. I cancelled all the Avengers books, all X-Men, Punisher, Iron-Man and Wolverine. The only stuff I have left is Star Wars KOTOR/Legacy/Dark Times/Rebellion, Angel and Buffy. I didn't like the look of Astonishing X-Men post-Whedon, but I've just read 25-27 and it is really good. The characterisations are quality and I'll have to add that back onto the list. Now I have also read X-Men Legacy and I'm really liking where it's going with Xavier and the "side stories" so that'll be going back on the list. Uncanny however is rubbish. Punisher I have lost all interest in since about 15-20 issues ago but have just been reading it for the sake of reading it. Wolverine and Iron-Man are the same. Deadpool is brilliant. I was a bit wary about it without Nicieza but it the story so far has been very good. So. Adding that. New/Mighty Avengers is actually quite good. They were always good fun reads. Nothing groundbreaking or anything that made me go "wow I can't wait for the next issue" but it's still enjoyable. Might add these back, but I might go for the trades from now on. So while I have cancelled about seven or eight titles, it looks like I'll be adding seven or eight titles to my reserve again. Good money saving. Heskey was definately the best player on the pitch today. Played a part in a goal or two I think but the guy was everywhere. He's never ever, ever going to score for England again but still. Lampard and Gerrard have another god awful game again. Everyone needs to accept that they cannot play together. Barry and Gerard proved they can play together whereas Lampard has proved he cannot play with anyone in an England shirt for some reason. Though to be fair he played better tham Mr. Liverpool tonight. Theo had a frustrating game. Started off well but just went back to being the pre-Croatia Theo. I love the guy, but a lot/most Arsenal fans weren't expecting another fantastic performance from him. Oh yeah...lol, Cashley.
