  1. To be purchased by Sports Interactive in a desperate attempt to save the Collyers beloved club. Get Lollujo in to the end of the season in the hope they'll "do a football" and stay up.
  2. Amazing day at Broadhall Way. Huge result and the place was bouncing. Difficult game in hand this week against Swindon before the Stoke cup game but we're in a great place to push on for promotion now.
  3. well, they did it. The crazy sons of bitches did it. Even I wasn't expecting such a good effort at throwing things away so soon.
  4. This is going to be interesting, Spurs leading at half time, if there's one thing we've learned this season is they can only be vaguely competent for one half so in a turn up for the books today we're going to see a second half of them desperately trying to throw away a game.
  5. It's all a bit Levy really isn't it. Team sets asking price, are up front about their requests and you stand around haggling over (for these teams) small change. I know teams can take the piss but you want the bloke, give them what they want. If the player is that key to your plans in the future you'll more than make up the difference of any haggling.
  6. Just in from a rehearsal, let's tune in to the NLD... Okay well this is over.
  7. This is the story of the property now sadly. She sold millions of copies of the books to people who were only buying them to "teach the wokes" over the last couple of years. The game looks like it'll be decent even if there's zero interest overall from me (just never got into the books or films so not a property that appeals) but the internet is going to be horrible once this comes out for a while.
  8. Glorious, incredible scenes at VIlla is what I'm sure Lineker meant to say. Stevenage always score late on, everyone knows that. Never in doubt.
  9. Meanwhile Coventry/Wrexham was a fantastic match.
  10. It's been a while but... it's Super Son Time!
  11. West Ham/Everton could well determine who gets the axe, although I'm surprised that both Moyes and Lampard have lasted as long as they have with how awful they've been so far this year.
  12. I think Forbidden Sky is the one with the electrical element. Vaguely recall them doing one that had some sort of circuit you had to complete before trying to get away from the location. It's a great little series of games and used to be a regular at our wargaming club nights on "can't be arsed to lug a bunch of models in tonight" situations.
  13. It's not big, it's not clever but... I've got hooked on World of Warships. I'm not good at it but it's such a quick cycle around games and can be quite fun which has meant I keep having "one more turnitis" and saying "sod it, I'll give my silly Swedish destroyer another go..."
  14. I'd say you can pick up and get into Total War games relatively easily, though I have played every one since the original Shogun (except Troy, but the Red Cross have just given me a steam key so that'll soon change) so I've grown up with them. The base tutorials are pretty good though and you'll pick things up soon enough I should think. As above, they're not *too* complex, my favourites are the Warhammer ones because I've waited for these games since White Dwarf showed work in progress of Warhammer Online (which was nothing like what the MMO would become) and they're great fun. Some factions are a bit fiddlier to work with but if there's a period of history you're interested in I'd say you'll get a lot out of them, fantastic series of games.
  15. Got to get 40k Total War figured out first.
  16. and he's got that bet up on his Boxing Day acca!
  17. I feel the game peaked with the commentator talking about David Rayas home town of Spain.
  18. Surprised Gadirova is up for that as well as young. Would hope she at least picks up that one but for ages it's been ridiculously likely to be Mead and unless something happens crazily I can't see that changing. Don't see anyone who stands out for a gammon campaign to vote against her... Stokes maybe but can't see that doing enough to beat her.
  19. I've not seen the first one but that one was a laughably bad call. I'm not sure how anyone made that ruling.
  20. Darren Anderton, being a crock by the age of 13 certainly helped as I'd play a few games really well then pick up another injury and end up on crutches for a while.
  21. They get a lot of shit from certain sections of the community but they're just so much fun I've never really got it.
  22. On the plus side, we only have one scapegoat over missed penalties.
