  1. Seen it properly and it looks like Kanes toe is just ahead of the ball when Royal heads it back. In which case it seems fair enough. Spurs probably should have won it on the last... 20 minutes or so of play but their best chances fell to Dier. The first hour and a bit though was totally shite.
  2. I assume Royal was offside before playing it backwards and it deflecting off the defenders hand. Unless offside has changed again? I'm a bit lost by that decision.
  3. After a nice lively game, it takes a calamity to open the scoring. Hilariously shite.
  4. I've picked it up on the basis that I've not played a new one in 4 years but overall it doesn't seem drastically changed from last year. They've not really advertised an awful lot to convince people to invest in the new one compared to last one at a discount.
  5. FM23s gurning game is strong at least. That must be a positive.
  6. In a long list of great episodes, I think I'd say my favourite Blackadder episode is the one with him as Doctor Johnson and the dictionary, he was also great as the ghost in Blackadders Christmas Carol. Though of course he did so many great things it'd be easy to overlook some highlights. What a shit week for great actors.
  7. Spurs had to work hard to make this an interesting finish.
  8. Has anything come out regarding Coventry? Given Wasps were their landlords which led to a kerfuffle over the last few years wondering on the knock on effect there.
  9. Refreshing to see, after the Leicester game everyone was saying that he was done for but that's better than the traditional "vote of confidence" to say they're behind him. I don't think they bought well at all over the Summer and think they're doomed but good to see them putting actions to words and backing him to get them back up/out of the mess.
  10. It'll be like First Class where he agrees to wear the gear for a quick scene so he can tell the main character to fuck off then disappear. I would also be perfectly happy with this turn of events.
  11. Back to 3-3, turned into a good half of football this from out of nowhere.
  12. Well after stinking the place out. 2-2, somehow.
  13. It was a good old fashioned scrap. Definitely beat Conte Vs Tuchel.
  14. With this defending I'm anticipating this to finish 9-7. Leicester can't seem to defend set pieces and Spurs don't seem to be able to defend at all so far.
  15. For Switch RPGs would second the suggestions of Dragon Quest IX and Three Houses. I know a fair few of us had Three Houses down as game of the year when it came out and still love playing through it.
  16. Rarity to see penalty called back for encroachment after a few this season seeming to get away with it. Spurs punished early for circus defending.
  17. https://store.steampowered.com/app/845890/Moonbreaker/ As someone who remembers the original concept for Warhammer Online before they started playing catch up and went with a standard MMO.... I am kind of interested in seeing how this actually plays.
  18. They can't do that. It'll be a dark day for the modding community when the game comes with the logos out of the box!
  19. Yeah it's done based on who you label as the team you support. Naturally referees will tend to try and find the nearest and smallest club to them to put down as their team. I don't doubt that some do support these teams of course but law of averages would have you finding a lot more supporters of big clubs in the referees list than there are.
  20. Some apparently do so home or away, but it depends on the manager as far as I'm aware.
  21. Many managers wish they were as "bad" as the incredible mind that is Tactics Tim.
  22. This West Ham/Spurs game has already had some interesting decisions. It's going to boil over to a comedic level by the end at this rate.
  23. I'm not sure about that, he was odds on to replace Klopp based on one season. Obviously it's all speculative but if Gerrard had stayed at Rangers, won a few more league titles and a couple of good European runs, for example if he's still in charge last season losing out on a penalty shoot out in a Europa final - not that I'm convinced they'd have got there with him but again, all speculative - would look great on the CV. I'm not saying that everyone would necessarily be convinced it was the right move but he wouldn't be the first former player to get promoted beyond his ability, compared to the pedigree of the others around him he'd have something to go on alongside the natural goodwill that these appointments usually have. I admire the bloke for taking the chance and not resting on his laurels, taking the gamble by wanting to prove himself with a tough job is admirable, unfortunately he's been generally poor there. I do find it hard to believe people would be writing him off the way people are now on here had he stayed up at Rangers. To be honest I wouldn't be entirely surprised if we're chatting in the 2034/35 thread about Stevie Gs Liverpool. After all, even despite this there'd be a reasonable contingency of Liverpool fans who'd welcome him back and be prepared to overlook this as "yeah but that was with Villa... Imagine what he could do at a real club!"
  24. Maybe after 40k they'll fancy another sci-fi property...
