I feel the game peaked with the commentator talking about David Rayas home town of Spain.

Darren Anderton, being a crock by the age of 13 certainly helped as I'd play a few games really well then pick up another injury and end up on crutches for a while.

Oooh, not familiar with that one. I do spend a lot of time on Board Game Arena though. Recently added Memoir '44 and do have Wingspan on there too. Given all my years of tabletop wargaming, my performances on Memoir have been shambolic but it's still been good fun.

I know the recent remake was poorly reviewed and isn't a great film but like seeing the old Ghostbusters line up again in Afterlife, seeing "Kimberly and Tommy" cheering on the new Rangers was one of those things that made me a touch emotional. There's something about passing the torch type things as my childhood is past on to the next generation that gets me. As a kid when Power Rangers crashed on to the world stage naturally it was a bit part and one of the earliest big discussion points in the playground was the incredible Green With Evil storyline and everything that came after made the Green (then white) and JDF just seem like the coolest and most amazing person on the planet. Of course, he never really "escaped" the franchise but always seemed to be so appreciative of it and the fans and seemingly a decent bloke about it all. Heartbreaking to hear he couldn't beat his demons and that this has happened.

Maybe they thought they were only paid to be in the crowd for one half?

It could well be, those Saturday accumulators he put on over his bacon sarnies in the mornings could be stupidly costly. Naturally a fair few Posh fans around here are worried about those sell on fees now!

This one hits hard. For 30 years Conroy was Batman for me from the animated series, all the films that followed that and in the Arkham games he's always been a presence and any time there was another Batman in something it felt wrong somehow. Always seemed to be a genuinely nice bloke as well and never seemed to quite realise just how much of an impact his voice and work had done for so many people. I know he had other work as well but even if you just took Batman... That is one hell of a legacy to leave for so many.

Probably won't be the last one. This week could be interesting for late problems. Do wonder if there'll be a few players who bottle out of challenges to preserve themselves for the world cup.
