  1. The very end of Don't Cry (Original) by Guns N' Roses. I'm one who enjoys singing along with songs and the impossibly held final note just annoys me every time.
  2. Interesting theory. Especially the issued date of the doctor pass. The cars was grabbing at straws though really. We'll have to wait and see then won't we
  3. I never saw the love for Honey Ryder. I understand she was the first Bond Girl but in comparison to others that have come after her I just don't see how she stood the test of time.
  4. Says its unavailable to download
  5. That's.....that's amazing. One queztion that did come to mind though. Would this not totally negate the effect of a watermarked image?
  6. Never knew about anything to do with this movie. But I do want to see it now. looks fun.
  7. Just finished Season 4 of Skins. Last two eps were fucked up to say the least. Kinda dodgy ending though.
  8. This. Was a really sad scene and I can't for the life of me find the youtube video that I saw it on. I think it was a metaphor for Global Warming as well. That show was smart
  9. 1. The Mask 2. The Dark Knight 3. The Truman Show 4. Iron Man 5. Memento 6. Stranger Than Fiction 7. Zoolander 8. V for Vendetta 9. American History X 10. Clerks The Mask is up there because it was my favourite movie as a kid and it just brings back so many great memories. I dont realy enjoy the movies that everyone says were "the greatest movies ever made" and I actually find most of them quite boring. I'm more of a "watch for a laugh" type of movie-goer and I think this list kind of reflects that. Honourable mention to Fight Club, Inglorious Basterds and Anchorman.
  10. I guess its more sounding like FYS. I just looked them up on Wikipedia and that's what they were catagorised into.
  11. So after listening to the new Four Year Strong album I have realised that this is what I always describe to friends as the music I like. Metal with actual singing. I just never knew it actually had a name. So my question to you guys would be what other bands follow in the same genre of "Melodic Hardcore" that would be worth checking out. Keep in mind I've already got the Four Year Strong album
  12. Orion wasn't The Fonz. Orion was the guy from Quantum Leap and Star Trek
  13. Skins - Sooo good. Up to Season 3 about a quarter way through and the first two seasons were absolute class. This season is still good, it's just...different I guess. Dont really watn to rate it atm though.
  14. Soldiers Poem? Really? Wow. I'm almost at the point of blind love for Muse but Soldier's Poem may be the worst song I have ever endured. It's like they thought "Oh balls, we don't have a song that stays consistently slow on this album, let's throw one in". That and it comes after Map of The Problematique which has to be one of the stand out songs of their career. I'd also say it's my favourite on that album, although I know YI would argue forever that it is Starlight. I don't think of it in the context of the album. I just like the song. And slow doesn't always mean shit.
  15. Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal. Hands Down. Avril Lavigne - Complicated. If only for the memories of my first ski trip. Coldplay - Viva La Vida. Seeing them in concert with the timpani and bells was fantastic. The song is also great. Daft Punk - Don't know much Daft Punk except for their Mainstream songs (Technologic, Around the World, Harder Better Faster Stronger). I guess Technologic would be my favourite. The Killers - Never got the hype around The Killers. I guess Mr. Brightside Modest Mouse - Float On. I bought "Good news for people who like Bad News" on a whim at a sale and it was absolutley terrible. Kinda put me off them a bit. Muse - Unintended, Soldier's Poem. Couldn't pick one. Love both of them to bits. Weezer - Teenage Dirtbag forever.
  16. Thank you. Finally ONE other person who doesn't like Adam's Song. I went away with a couple of friends who basically had it on loop. It's terrible and I think most people only like it cos of it's aura as a "Suicide Song" that it seems to have gained
  17. Just make a points system. 1st=3 points, 2nd=2 points and so on. That way it will equate to the right position
  18. It's more the marketing side saying that if you did like Zelda then "On Xbox we have something that might peak your interest". It's like saying if you like Counterstrike come play Halo
  19. Such a good show when I was little. If you look back on the episodes now they also had a deep and meaningfull message in almost every episode. The final episode was a real downer though.
  20. My child hood was actually, as I remember it, genre free. I basically only listened to music on the radio when I was being driven to school once a week or was watching Video Hits on TV on a Saturday. I will say that I grew up in a Musical Family mainly because my mother is a music teacher and therefore I had heaps of classical music and the such playing all the time and I could always hear her students in her lessons in the front room while I was out back, I still can, but that also introduced to me to more of a jazz appreciation. I think I really started to branch out from popular music when I began to really join the internet culture. I think EWB really broadened my horizons plus friends who are always up to date with bands I've never heard of and such. Youtube is also a good reason as I would just surf through songs linked through the sidebar and get that album or that song.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCpK2XnIaeI Theres the Mass Effect 2 ad. This is what I was talking about. That could easily be a trailer for a movie. Great stuff.
  22. I just wanted to make a point of congratulating whoever the marketing genius was that helped spawned the new ads for the latest range of games. Ads for Bayonetta, Bioshock, Mass Effect as just three examples. They're beautiful pieces of work and the music behind them is awesome. It even stopped my mum when she walked past when the big Bioshock robot (noy familiar with the game) was being led by the girl. Great stuff. To keep this going....post some of your favourite ads for video games.
  23. My attention span is too short nowadays to bother completeing games. I think the last game I completed was Knight of the Old Republic which is really a sentiment to how immersive and great that game really was.
  24. Just finished Firefly and am trying to find a copy of Serenity somewhere. I've had the box set for a while now as it was given to me as a present but I've never had the time to just sit and watch it. It's incredible. 8/10
