    2006 WSOP

I consider myself somewhat profiecent in razz, but after seeing who all was in it, it has me thinking "Gee, I don't know". Definantly the smaller NLH games. Back to today... Carlos Mortensen finishes in second place in the $1500 Razz event, losing to James Richburg. Phil Hellmuth continues to have an impressive showing at this years WSOP, finishing 3rd in the $1000+1000 Rebuy NLH event. Hassan Habib was also at that final table.

    2006 WSOP

With just a week left before the Main Event gets under way, I figured it'd be nice to have a topic going for this. Winners, Events, and Runner Up can been seen via this link: Results So far, a few names have been making an impact. Phil Hellmuth came close to winning his 10th bracelet, while Joe Hachem continues to have a strong showing. In addition to that 2nd place finish, Ihe made a 4th place finish at the $2500 Pot Limit Hold 'Em event, as well as a 5th place finish in the circuit events. The big story to me is Jeff Madsen. 21 year old kid, borrows money from his parents, and not only wins one, but two events. Double fun, he's also the youngest winner in WSOP history. Hats off too him. I wonder what he can do in the Main Event. In addition to those two remarkable feets, he also finished third in the $2500 Omaha Hi/Lo Split Event. Speaking of which, Daniel Negreanu placed 7th in that event, and also netted a Circuit title. Right now, 4 events are currently in Progress. Seven Card Razz (with former champion Juan Carlos Mortensen as chip leader at the final table), Pot Limit Hold 'Em, and two NLH events (featuring Greg Raymer ranking 2nd in total chips at the moment, and Negreanu just busting out). Updates will follow as the events progress.

    New TMNT Movie

So is this a reboot? I mean, they need Elias Koteas to play Casey... Given how Quinton Flynn is Casey...does this mean the WHOLE movie is going to be CGI? Whatever they do, just get the original voice actors from the movies for the turtles...
  4. Twelve Angry Men Probably the greatest film that doesn't rely heavily on a set or even effects. It's all briliant acting, writing, and directing. OTHERS: The French Connection Jaws Animal House The Big Lebowski And off of the personal list, Twister. Yes, Twister has a bad plot and bad acting, but the freaking score is so good. That and I've seen it enough to know virtually the entire script verbatim.
  5. QUOTE(Video on the Chainsaw in Doom ) Not accuired until late in the game The fuck? You get it on the second friggin' level...
  6. I feel let down by it after every thing that San Andreas was. No skills, swimming, etc, it all really upsets me. It's like they've taken select features from Vice City and SA and put it into Liberty City... That and the lack of Michael Madsen as Toni  The guy they have sounds like a tard... Still, I cannot call it a waste of money since I paid 20 bucks for it...
  7. SON OF A BITCH BASTARDS! YOU STOLE MY IDEA This is a dark day. Going by what has been seen just by the producer's resume, we have hot (yet talentless) women taking over the girls that die, a B-List actor in the Kitano role, Hayden Christensen as the big name to play Kiriyama, and some black rapper to be either Kawada or Mimura that's going to release some shitty Battle Royale single (Bow Wow, I'm looking at you ) that punk kids are going to be blasting out of their cars, while Epert and Roper bury the film. **Sigh** Did I see that the article called this "Battle Royal" sans the "E"? Christ, I did.... ....... There really is no hope.
  8. I wonder if Motorhead knows about teh music I uploaded to MySpace that is know under Tom's ownership
  9. So.. Tom is really the Devil.. And having a Myspace is the mark of the beast
  10. AC/DC.... Every album...I rule.
  11. I would've thrown in a clip from A Few Good Men just for good measure... "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!"
  12. .... With Tom Hanks... That opens the door to all kinds of more shit to splice in
  13. RIP Paul... Crack some skulls in Heaven
  14. A little bit of Shawshank Redemption and either The Fugitive or US Marshalls in there.... They so should've spliced in footage from Catch Me If You Can though...

    Rocky Balboa

I'd like to see George Washington Duke return from Rocky V... It'd be perfect, with the total change in how boxing is produced between now and 1989. Duke'd still be around. That, and Rocky needs to wear the US Boxing shorts...
  16. I tend to name the main character/main warrior (if a male) Leto. It's drawn mainly from Dune.
  17. Well, I'm going to go a little bit back in time here... The following NES soundtracks are gold: Megaman Megaman 2 Megaman 3 Contra Life Force Blaster Master Castlevania Castlevania 2 Double Dragon Dragon Quest 1-4 The Legend of Zelda Zelda II Ninja Gaiden
  18. Eddie Izzard and Robin Williams.
  19. ER. Been hooked on it for a few years now...
  20. In no Particular Order Dragon Quest IV Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past WCW vs nWo: World Tour Goldeneye 007 Wolfenstein 3D GTA 3 The Sims Sim City TIE Fighter (best. game. EVER.) Diablo Civilization II EWR (....what?) Super Mario Brothers Final Fantasy VI Street Fighter II Tecmo Super Bowl Pirates! Gold Megaman 2 Warcraft Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!
  21. Come to think of it, shouldn't something like Warcraft, Dune, or Command and Conquer be up there? I mean, take your pick as to which of those three games had more of a part in revolutionizing the RTS game. And while I'm talking about significant games that got snubbed, why isn't any of the Civilization games on the list? I'm telling you, I hate the fact that kids are getting the idea of good video games when they wre born in 1992, right after the NES died. You tell them "Yeah, Doc really needs to get into the ring and show Mac how it's done.", and they just look at you.
  22. Dude, rock on \m/ My first album was AC/DC's "Live". Within a year of purchasing it, I managed to get the whole AC/DC catalog under my collection. That was a good album. The Double Live CD wasn't too bad either, packed with some decent versions.
  23. That list is fucking shit. A lack of Zelda seriously gives me major fucking doubts. And WoW as number one? Sounds like fanboy bullshit to me.
  24. In ROTJ when Anakin dies. I teared up after seeing it a few weeks after ATOC. Trinity's death in The Matrix Revolutions was pretty somber.
