  1. Training is simpler, team talks are gone and there's much less in the way of media interaction. You can also only load up to three national league systems. On the other hand, the match engine is supposedly the same.
  2. It's also worth remembering that 2K's purchase of the WWE rights doesn't serve as an iron clad guarantee that 2K Sports themselves will be tasked with developing future titles. They could always keep it with Yukes, who they'll have also presumably acquired, or they could even create their own studio. At this point, it's all a case of educated guesswork.
  3. That's correct. They've stated that it's "too early to say" whether or not the game will make its scheduled March release.

    The Cave

No, it's a new adventure game with platforming elements written by Ron Gilbert of Monkey Island fame.
  5. I assume you meant Bethesda there. The PS3 has been known to struggle with a few multiplatform titles, but Bethesda's offerings have been among the guiltiest parties in that regard.
  6. Yes, changing the search critera to most downloaded or highest rated will yield more results. What's Hot only gives you like the latest ones I believe. That's probably why you weren't finding Ritchie Stemboat. I have the 360 version of the game and I've found quite a few Ritchie's in CC. I've had the same problems. I edited the participants, and after I played the match (which I won with Daniel Bryan btw), the game didn't recognize the winner. It's a known problem I guess. However as far as I know there hasn't been a patch for it yet. There's other issues they need to address not just with Universe but with online play as well. They really need to release a patch. While a patch would certainly be the sensible solution in theory, the problem is the 'hidden' costs involved. I'm not sure how it works on the PS3, but every Xbox 360 developer is entitled to one free patch, with any subsequent tweaks (even a single layer of coding) costing $40,000 apiece, according to Tim Schafer. Sadly, unless there haven't been any patches yet, or unless THQ/Yuke's are willing to fork out Microsoft's standard fee, don't expect to see any more updates beyond the scheduled DLC packs.

  8. Limp Bizkit have been confirmed as a Sunday act. Around 30 more additions will be made to the lineup tomorrow at 9:00am.
  9. Wait for it to be announced as one of the next game's revolutionary new features.
  10. What division are Beckham's Bury in?
  11. He was at the City Ground today. So I've heard. Given his most recent Championship experience with Ipswich, at least towards the end of his tenure, I can't see any way in which he's an upgrade from O'Driscoll. I know he's an ex-Forest player, but that obviously doesn't guarantee any degree of success. You're forgetting the vital thing about Keane. He's managed in the Premiership, therefore Better Manager. What's that? He quit Sunderland as soon as things got tough? And he achieved piss all with Ipswich? Sorry can't hear you over PREMIERSHIP EXPERIENCE THEREFORE BETTER MANAGER. Here's £20 Million Keano, away you go. At least that's what I'd assume would be the only "logic" in letting Keane getting anywhere near the job I'm obviously not cut out for these managerial hiring hijinks.

  13. Roberto Di Matteo is the latest rumour cropping up on ForestForum.
  14. Friday 28th December. The exact price drops haven't been revealed yet, though.
  15. Amazon will have FM13 on sale for $19.99 between 25th and 27th December. It's a Steamworks game too, so you'll get a product key that's redeemable through Steam. I'd keep an eye out in case it doesn't get a decent price reduction on Steam itself.
  16. THQ will reportedly still operate as normal under its new buyer, with "game development to progress unhindered". Whether that turns out to be the case is another matter, of course. Also, as much of a soft spot as I have for Saints Row and WWE, the THQ-published title I'm most eagerly anticipating has to be South Park: The Stick of Truth.
  17. I doubt it. They used to host a live stream, but the added costs of setting up the servers and the hassle of having to get the bands to sign the relevant paperwork meant that they decided to stop doing it a couple of years ago. The last time it happened was in 2009.
  18. If anyone's interested, FTL is on sale for $5.99 on its official site. It comes with both a Steam key and a DRM-free download for PC, Mac and Linux.
  19. I've heard good things about Ni No Kuni. A demo version will be released in North America and Europe this Wednesday.
  20. Not that it makes much of a difference to most paying customers, but this isn't being marketed as an "indie bundle" in the same way that its predecessors have. Then again, Psychonauts was part of the last major Humble Indie Bundle despite not being an indie game, so it's becoming more of a matter of semantics than anything else.
  21. I wouldn't bet against it at some stage. Telltale did the same thing with Back to the Future and Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Having said that, I imagine it won't happen for a while yet.
  22. I remember scoring a few KO victories on the first Smackdown game by way of Stephanie McMahon's Woman's Special Slap.
  23. And thanks to the Daily/Flash Sales, there's every chance you'll see even larger discounts at some point during the next few days.
  24. Angry Birds but the Birds are big rocks and the piggies are castles. I think thats about right. Which, funnily enough, is pretty much the exact description of Crush The Castle, the game that Angry Birds supposedly ripped off.
  25. I'm more excited for this than I have been for any other game this year.
