  1. My wife: "What are you doing?" Me: "Finishing up some quests for Chadley" My wife: "What's a Chadley?" *Fast travel to Chadley* My wife: "No. Nope. That guy sucks. Nope." 🤣
  2. Caught the first few laps at the gym. Looks like Max already has a healthy lead, as one would expect.
  3. He backtracked on the ownership stake. I'd be wary of him because he's surrounded himself with people who are setting themselves up for an enormous payday even if he fizzles out as a player. The first true NIL superstar, going to be a lot more of them coming through in the next few years who have built generational wealth before even taking an NFL snap. Time will tell if that makes these players of this sort less hungry and less humble.
  4. Emphasis on this last point. I explored a lot and there were places that looked like they'd have things to do that were empty so I fortunately connected the dots before too long.
  5. I may be guilty of just aimlessly wandering with a big ol' grin on my face the first chance the game gave me to do so
  6. Queen's Blood has no reason to be this much fun.
  7. They instead gave him a thank you card.
  8. I was actually thinking which players expected to be moved can fetch 1st rounders or a "1st round quality" young player. Hanifin, Guentzel, and maybe Henrique? Feels like a stretch on him but the center market is super thin so for a team looking for one he's the best out there.
  9. The summon is carried over from Remake I think and then the demo nets you some useful early game equipment and items.
  10. This one definitely stings. He and Larry had a perfect chemistry on Curb and evidently in real life as well. I still laugh at the way Richard Lewis just takes the end of this scene and runs with it.
  11. Commanders, in their first year after Snyder, came in 32nd. Some things are just never going to change.
  12. Apparently some parts of The First Soldier (which made their way into Ever Crisis) do factor into Rebirth's story. I've avoided much beyond that but that's the word. Fortunately there are YouTube story summaries to get you caught up on those.
  13. I've got the physical copy coming so presumably it arrives early on Thursday and I can just set it to install while I finish work.
  14. Allison is 31 and Kelleher is 25. Goalkeepers don't always age like wingers and midfielders in their early 30s, but I'd be hard-pressed as Liverpool to move on from him. He likely spends 24-25 on loan somewhere. But were I Liverpool, I'd be hard-pressed to just let a player like that leave.
  15. Brentford 1-2 Chelsea (Sat 3pm) Everton 1-1 West Ham (Sat 3pm) Fulham 2-2 Brighton (Sat 3pm) Luton 0-2 Aston Villa (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) Man City 3-1 Man Utd (Sun 3.30pm, Sky)
  16. I've gone to O's games alone. Often when the person or people cancel and I already made the time or bought tickets. Those are the games where I hang out in the flag court of Camden Yards which is a great spot to watch a game if you are fine standing for a couple of hours. Also in my experience that kind of area is where the other solo attendees are. Not sure what the Wrigley equivalent is but I'm sure it exists.
  17. It all feels so corrupt. They agree to a deal, Davies is pressured to agree to his contract with Real (that won't be hard), and then Bayern is given enough windows to find their replacement. Smaller clubs could never manage this. They make agreements for the following window all the time but never a vague "he'll join eventually, when the mood is right" agreement.
  18. Those points back feel enough for Everton, who would be 12th with no points deduction.
  19. The first holdout signed. Bellinger returning to the Cubs.
  20. Happy Twin Peaks day to all who observe.
  21. That's great because it does more to remind you as a fan that refs are people than just about anything else they do.
  22. Hosmer overrunning that ball was an all-timer. He retired yesterday too.
