  1. Well, they do need an elite QB.... But none are available, really, so he'd work.
  2. Benji, DO NOT read this spoiler until you're on episode 2 of season4! Seriously!
  3. I have NEVER wished injury on anyone. I made a comment about Tony Romo that someone (I believe it may have been YOU in fact) took out of context back when he got that contract extension that said it looked like a career ending injury was the only way he was going away, despite him being crap in the postseason. Because that showed there was no way Jerry Jones was getting rid of him. I didn't wish injury on Rodgers. In fact, I'd rather he go out not accomplishing anything than retire with an injury, but I *am* hoping it makes him consider not coming back. I also don't buy that they were automatically contenders with him, but they definitely are not if Wilson takes over the rest of the season. I'm not sure about the Bills now, either, the way Allen is playing. However, I *will* own my comment about Ray Rice. After the heinous act he did in that elevator, he deserved (and deserves) anything bad that happens to him. He's THE exception.
  4. I'm of too minds regarding Rodgers' injury: As a human being I hate to see anyone get hurt *, but as a Rodgers hater? Adios, Motherfucker! Please consider retirement. * Wouldn't say that if Ray Rice had ever been allowed to play again. After seeing the elevator footage, I would've wished for something bad to happen to that asshole. I drafted him as possible trade bait in one of my fantasy leagues, but its no skin off my nose that he's done for the season. Funny thing is, I'm going after Jordan Love now. I'm still stunned at what THE Dallas Cowboys did to the Giants! I expected Dallas to win, but more like a 7 to 10 point win, not a shutout thumping. And, of course, I've seen a lot of Giants fans blaming the whole thing on Daniel Jones. Lets not forget that the Giants' kicking team and O-Line are to blame, as well.
  5. There's a version of Shada, using audio from Big Finish with Paul McGann and Lala Ward. So its the 8th Doctor and Romana. Its was done using Flash animation of comic strip panels, in 2005. The version I'm referring to was done in 2017, using the existing footage that was actually filmed, and the rest done as animation with the surviving cast members reprising their roles.
  6. I watch Classic Who on Pluto from time to time. Watched part of The Deadly Assassin last night before I crashed. They actually air the Shada reconstruction with a mix of the footage that was actually filmed and animation from time to time. I highly recommend checking it out. Especially for the very last scene.
  7. Fans are excited over the Buffaloes and acting as if Prime is practically a Hall of Fame coach already. Yes, Colorado managed to beat a team that played in the last national championship game, but they're ignoring a few things: 1. TCU isn't the same team they were last year. They dropped out of the top 10 when the preseason rankings were released. 2. Colorado has no defense. TCU only scored 7 points vs. Georgia, yet this shadow of its former self team managed to put up 42 points against the Buffaloes. 3. They may not even be contenders for their own conference championship. I see at least 3 conference losses likely to happen, and will be surprised if they manage to have a record better than 5 wins. As for Texas, this "Texas is back!" bullshit is the same crap Dallas Cowboys haters accuse us Cowboys fans of, which isn't necessarily true. Alabama is on a decline, and will lose 1 or 2 more games, maybe even 3. I have Texas going 9-3, but they've proven they *might* be able to hang with some of the teams when they join the SEC, but a few teams aren't exactly quaking in their boots over having to face the Longhorns eventually. (Oklahoma should be scared about joining the conference.) I just can't believe that I'll be pulling for Notre Dame, a team I can't stand, when they face Ohio State later this month.
  8. Was at the Orioles-Red Sox game Friday night, and damn were the Red Sox awful. Their pitching staff was shit. They went through 5 pitchers, and I've never been to ANY game, minors or MLB, where a team used more than 4 until this one. 11-2 loss, but it came close to being 11-4. Two run shot looked like it was going to go out of the park, but got caught. Just glad the Sox weren't wearing those ugly ass yellow and blue City alternates. They're fucking horrible. (The last game I went to where a fourth pitcher was used was one where they brought in a pitcher to throw to one guy, and the pitcher he replaced temporarily took over a base then went back to pitching.)
  9. I'm just laughing over all the people out there saying Colorado is great, Prime will be coach of the year, and other nonsense. After they play Oregon and USC, hopefully people will shut up. Glad Texas beat the Crimson Turd.
  10. After what happened in the finale, I hope there's no season 2 of STARS ON MARS, unless they make a few changes.
  11. Before voicing Harley Quinn, she was on Days Of Our Lives. Her character's husband was played by John de Lancie, Q from Star Trek. (I actually watched Days Of Our Lives back then.) R.I.P.
  12. NFL Europe/Europa (which was pretty much NFL Germany at the end) *should* have been a minor league for the NFL.
  13. i watched either the UK or Aus version....I forget which....and thought it was pretty good. But they should either do all normal people are all celebrities, not a mix of both. I also hate it when people from reality shows, like Big Brother and The Bachelor/Bachelorette appear on other shows that aren't on their original network. The Challenge especially, because most (not all) of the Big Brother contestants have been asses.
  14. The first season of the US version had a mix of both. I assume season 2 will, as well. The winner was
  15. I stick with my teams. I'm a Cowboys fan, but throw *some* support to the Titans, but it has nothing to do with them moving to Tennessee. The Oilers were my favorite AFC team waaaaay back when Warren Moon was their QB. I just pull for the Cowboys more, and will be pulling for them whenever the two team play. On the flip side.... I used to go to Smokies (minor league baseball) games all the time when they were here in Knoxville, but in 2000, they moved to Sevier County. I went to one of their last few games here before they left Knoxville, but I haven't been to a game since. While they were here in Knoxville, they were a White Sox affiliate (Tony LaRussa actually coached them for a while), then a Blue Jays one. That's going back to at least the late 60s, if I remember right. Since they moved, they've been affiliates of at least 5 different teams. I don't know or care what team they're with right now, and they can lose all their games as far as I am concerned. BUT.....we're getting the team back in 2025, I'll go back to supporting them, and I already plan on going to a few games.
  16. The only thing I liked about Scream 5:
  17. It's rather shitty that a team could even do that. I wish that there was a rule that once the postseason hits, you can't sign anyone unless its to replace an injured player. And it has to be an injured starter.
  18. I'm trying to figure out if its a giant cd player, or a giant videogame console.
  19. Heart failure and pneumonia. Would have been 88 on the 29th. Besides the two movies I mentioned, I also recommend To Live And Die In L.A.
  20. Go watch the sequel ASAP. John Frankenheimer directed it instead of William Friedkin (who sadly died yesterday), but its a a continuation of the story. Completely new cast, except for Hackman and Rey. But avoid the tv movie with Ed O'Neill. It was a busted tv pilot, and its surreal seing the actor best known as Al Bundy play Doyle.
  21. That's good. Because that was absolutely no way for a VFL to behave.
  22. So, once the season starts, who do you think will whine first: Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban, or....Ohio State fans?
  23. You're right. I wasn't thinking.
