Booo you guys suck! I actually enjoyed that clip. However, I've seen the gameplay and I actually don't think that inspires me at all so I probably still won't play the game.

I mean you basically said it in your post. He's the Undefeated Light Heavyweight Champion, and if he was coming back to challenge for the Light Heavyweight Title then I'd probably agree with you but he's not and he hasn't done shit at heavyweight. I cited his outside issues as a follow up, but his shit outside the cage should have an effect. Do you really want to put a guy who can't seem to keep his shit together in the title picture? If he wants to come back then he should be fighting his way to the title and showing he's not just going to pull the same shit.

If that's your criteria of why Miocic doesn't deserve a Heavyweight Title fight then what is your criteria for Jones deserving one considering he hasn't fought since 2020, and while he did win his last 4 fights, they weren't exactly run away victories by any means and were at Light Heavyweight. Add in all the other Jon Jones bullshit and I don't think he deserves a shot any more than Miocic. However, with saying that, the Heavyweight division is really lacking and I can't really look at the top 10-15 and think of a fight that I really want to see for the title if I'm honest.

Hmm, I wonder if one of my old high school friends worked on it. He and his twin brother have worked on a ton of Netflix & HBO shows like The Umbrella Academy and The Handmaids Tale. I don't think one of them did because he usually posts it on fb but his other brother does more of this type of work so he very well could have.

That was definitely a good episode but it reminded me that I don't really remember shit from the game. I probably need to go back and play it before playing the second one now.

I assume if it wasn't true that he, or his agent, would be out there disputing that fact to put him in a different light. Promoters (especially Dana) are definitely bullshit salesmen but there's usually something to discredit them whereas right now, there is no statement from the other side. I will always say "Go get that money" because it won't always be there.

I downloaded Car Mechanic Simulator for this exact reason, but it turns out to be more frustrating than it has a any right to be. Had a car where I needed to change the fuel filter.....well you have to get the gas tank off to do the fuel filter.....except I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the fucking gas tank off! IRL I can get the gas tank off a car...apparently a simulator is much more difficult!

I've found myself getting burned out on WoW and Final Fantasy XIV lately, so last night I fired up some FF VII Remake. It's only the first one and I've barely played 10 minutes before yesterday. There are definitely parts of it that I don't like but there's more that I like about it than I don't.

Everything about Saints Row is so over the top and silly. I actually keep meaning to play a few more of those but haven't made it to them yet.

Oh man, the start up gear is so bad. It's not until you get out of ARR that I find gear starts looking nice. My black mage I'm leveling right now looks like he's wearing a fucking potato sack with a hood.

I don't disagree with that. However, you can find a lot of things to hate in almost anything that you encounter in your day to day life, and even more so if you go looking for it which I find a lot of people do today because it's so readily accessible. I'm not saying that you can't question the motives of some people but this argument for instance is based on a lot of "What if's" because the game isn't even out yet. Are people going to use this in the way that Bobfoc has stated. Of course they will because some people are just going to be complete assholes for the sake of being an asshole. They were going to do that no matter what. But contributing the mass amount of sales or success to those people is a stretch. Colly & Benji pointed it out far better than what I can but there are going to be a lot of people who bought this game that bought it simply because they love the world, for nostalgia purposes, etc. I just don't see how bringing the toxicity of twitter and using it as a benchmark is a good idea.

Oh definitely, but when it comes to free agency I would assume that his agent would have a list as well. So for the most part as long as the money is good, they're just along for the ride.

I assume baseball, like hockey, have things like No Trade, or limited trade type deals? I don't know a lot about baseball contracts and such, but I do know that a lot of times with hockey negotiations/trades, a player will sometimes give a list of places he won't be traded to and such. Is it the same for Baseball?

This reminds me of watching my uncle play Metal Gear Solid for the first time. He's sneaking around doing Stealth things because you know, it sells you on the idea of Stealth, and I'm just like "For the love of god, just run and gun! RUN & GUN!" and he would not. He refused. Continued slowly on his merry stealthy way.

It probably doesn't matter to a lot of people since most that I've seen discussing it are just starting but 6.3 dropped today. These are your bigger patches .1/.2/.3's where they generally release new Raids, dungeons and such. So today there is a new dungeon, a new 24 man raid which are pretty chill in FF, new story content, etc. This is the lead in to the new Ultimate which is FF's hardest difficulty raid level which comes out in 2 weeks. I really need to speed run my way to Endwalker because I am my own worst enemy in some cases. I tend to play a lot of "Alts" which you really don't need to do in FF unless you're a hardcore raider (which I'm not), and I've also gotten characters almost leveled and then deleted them for stupid reasons. If I'd just have put the time in to one character, I'd actually be caught up and ready to try some of the end game stuff....but alas, I really need to work on that.

I've got a lot on the go. I'm playing the original God Of War right now. I really want to play Ragnarok but I need to beat this one first. I probably won't get to Ragnarok though until after Hogwarts Legacy because I preordered that yesterday. Also a small bit of Mechanic Simulator, and a whole lot of World Of Warcraft. I think I'll probably fire up FFXIV in about an hour and play a bit of it too. My life is basically video games when I'm not working or hanging out with my wife.

I really want to find some people who want to do Savage content but want to have fun while doing it, much the same way as you mentioned. People who don't get tilted over dying, but still want to eventually clear the content. What I've seen from watching people who do Savage content online is that the fights are super scripted (though they're starting to incorporate a bit more RNG than they previously did) so once you learn the mechanics, it's really just a matter of repeat until you get it down. Add in the fact that there is often about 3 months between raids, if you only care about clearing and not clearing quickly, I think there's lots of time between each cycle to get it done.

Oh that's great. I definitely think that's more accessible for people who don't want to engage with people (even if they just use those once in awhile). I've heard people make the argument of "Why play an MMO then" which I've always hated because some MMO's like Final Fantasy, I simply want to enjoy the story arcs that continue. A single player game generally ends. Most MMO's will go on for years with so many different arcing storylines and FF is one of those.

Don't you have to do the dungeon the first time before you can access that dungeon with the NPC's though? I've never used them but I thought for sure I didn't get the option until after I'd completed it with humans the first time.

Well that may be an issue. Haha. Part of the story will require you to do dungeons/trials which will involve 4-8 people. They're not really that hard but you will get people who do make it harder than it needs to be. It's a really good story though if that's all you're in it for. I originally started playing because I got burned out on WoW and I wanted something that still felt like WoW but that I felt like I could take at my own pace (which I don't find World of Warcraft to be) and it's definitely more of a single player game than most MMO's but it still does force you to do content with some others.

Yeah I did it when I first started playing....then realized there was nobody I wanted to play with on that world. This was before Data center/world travel.
